Check out this cute little skating LiLi. Isn't she adorable?
I sure had fun colouring her in:

I used the Sunday Sketch & Stamp sketch

The second stamp I have to show you is 'Flower LiLi' and she is so cute. Look at her cute outfit and the pretty hat she's wearing. C-UTE!!
The sentiment is also an Inky Impressions stamp, don't you love it?

I made a wallet card for this cutie (with one of Tiets's templates). I put her on to a tag that you can pull out and I left some space on the inside of the card to write a message.
I think I was in a more is more kinda mood when I made this one, lol!

Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge #1

609storeheader

As promised, we're back with our first Simon Says Stamp monthly challenge! We are so excited - this has been in the planning for weeks and weeks and today's the day we get to show our creations to you all! Heidi from Simon Says Stamp has very generously agreed to sponsor this monthly challenge and the prize is .........

Now, because this is a special challenge with an extra special prize the theme is a bit more challenging but we know you can all do it! This month the challenge is to alter a container.

When I read we were going to do this challenge I was going to duck out. I've never altered something like this and I didn't think I could do it. When I told my DH last sunday he said I should do it and he was confident that I could do it (no one believes in me like he does), so I started altering this little wooden box, didn't have a lot of time to finish it, but I managed.
I didn't have any pearls that matched so I coloured them with my Copics, I sprayed the lace, roses & white Prima flowers with glimmer mist 'old lace'.

Here's my altered container, (please go easy on me, lol):

Recipe:

Papers: DCWV; Luxury stack
Stamps: Magnolia
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers
Embellishments: Say it in Crystals & Flowers; Prima, Glimmer mist; Tattered Angels, Pearls; Kaiser kraft, Roses, Lace; Stash

Thank you for looking,

Inky Impressions Grand Opening & Blog Hop

Hiya girls,

Oh I've been SO looking forward to this day! The Grand Openening of Inky Impressions! The day we (Nicole & The Inspirational Inkettes) get to introduce the utterly adorable LiLi & Angelica to the world.
We are having an Amazing blog hop and at the end of the hop there is some YUMMY candy up for grabs, more about that at the end of this post ;o)

The Inky Impressions stamps are EXTRA deep etched on quality red rubber for a crips, clean impression every time! The stamps are unmounted and come with EZ Mount, so you can just put them on an acrylic block and get them Inky!
I've already fallen totally in love with these adorable images, and I know you will too! They are just too cute for words.

As I was saying, to celebrate the Grand Opening of Inky Impressions, we (The Inspirational Inkettesn & Nicole) are participating in a blog hop, to inspire you with the new Inky Impressions rubber stamp line. If you didn't start the blog hop at the beginning, then you want to head back to Nicole's Blog (she is Inky's Mama) so you don't miss anything. Be sure to follow the blog hop all the way to the end, for a chance to win some YUMMY blog candy!

For my card I used the gorgeous stamp 'LiLi's birthday cake' I think she is my fav stamp of this collection (today that is, lol), look at her hair, those little ponytails, isn't that just too cute? And that expression on her face, sooo adorable you gotta love her, lol!
Look at that cake, it looks good enough to eat doesn't it? I LOVE cake, especially chocolate cake, you can wake me up for that anytime, lol!

Here's the card I made, I used the 'Create4fun' sketch and I'm entering it to their challenge I'm also entering it into the 'Cute Card Thursday' challenge which is to use punches and 'Charisma Cardz' which is to use Pink & Brown.
I used Bazzil Kraft cardstock, Basic Grey Bittersweet papers & brads, Prima say it in Crystals, and I've punched flowers out of the DP and Cardstock with EK Succes Retro flower punches. I bought the roses and charm from Ebay. The rubon is Making Memories.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For my next project I used another gorgeous image 'Angelica's bunny hugs'. Isn't she adorable? I wanted to show how you can use these stamps in combination with pictures, like scrapbook pages or an altered item like mine. Every child has had a picture taken with her or his fav stuffed animal right? This stamp is PERFECT to use with those pictures! I also could have used the 'LiLi' stamp I used for the card with a birthday picture, every mother has TONS of those pictures, right?! I know I do, lol.
For this project I used a baby picture of my youngest daughter (Keziah). On this picture she was only a couple of months old. Awww she was such a cute baby, don't ya think? Now she's a little monster of almost a year and a half trying to get her hands on my crafting stash (eeek!!), and running around screaming mama (dutch for mom/mum), cuz that's the only real word she can say. She has a lot of fun yelling it at the top of her longs all day long, poor neighbours, lol! Love my little monsters! lol

I'm entering this into the 'Secret Crafter Saturday' challenge, which is to use bling and that's right up my alley, lol!
For this project I used Bazzill Cardstock, My Minds Eye papers & die cuts, Prima say it in crystal and roses I bought of Ebay.

Next head over to the SUPER talented Inspirational Inkette Shary to see her amazing creations!

Be sure to start the hop at Nicole's blog and finish it to the last blog, so you don't miss out on a chance to win this YUMMY candy:

The blog candy will close on Friday June 12 at midnight (Eastern). The winner will be announced Saturday June 13.

Good luck and have fun blog hoppin'! ;o)

And don't forget the 'INKY IMPRESSIONS' store is now OPEN
, yihaa..

Hope you liked my creations and thank you for stopping by,

xx

Lelo Design: My sweet friend

When I bought these chocolates, I thought it would be fun to decorate it as a little gift for a friend, and the 'Lelo Design' stamp I used was just perfect for it! I also made a little card (10cm x 10cm) to go along with the choccies, Isn't it cute? The stamp I used for the card is another 'Lelo Design' stamp. The sentiment stamp is from the 'Whiff of Joy' summer stamp kit.
I've used my Copics to colour the images, the first images I ever coloured with Copics and I still have a LOT to learn, but I had fun colouring with them!

Recipe:

Papers: Bazzil Cardstock, Little Yellow Bicycle
Stamps: Lelo Design
Sentiment: Whiff of Joy
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers
Embellishments: Spacers, Brads; stash
Tools: Retro Flower Punches, EK Succes

Magnolia event #3

Another project we did, was decorating a cute little paper bag. This time we coloured with distress inks. I always use my derwent coloursoft pencils, so it was a fun thing to do for a chance, but I still need a LOT of practice! Didn't realise it was so difficult. Maybe it was even more difficult because I didn't have a decent paintbrush and used a cheap one that my three year old uses. LOL.

Magnolia event #2

Here's another project we did at the 'Magnolia event'. We used 2 different magnolia stamps, stamped them both and then cut out the head of one image and glued it on top of the head of the other (different) image! Really simple, but I never thought of using magnolia stamps like that. It was really fun to do, and I will try it again!

We made a cute little thingy to store our stamped images in. It was a fun project to do, and I had fun making it! Didn't have enough time to finish it on the event, so I finished it today.

To bad you can't see the stickles on her wings. Ah well, guess I'm a bad photographer, LOL.

Valentines gift. (Katharina's POM challenge)

I just finished my valentines gift, we don't celebrate valentines day (yes, we're that romantic, LOL), so I made this gift for myself ;o) because I really wanted to join in on Katharina's POM challenge.

This is the little project I made, hope you like it!

Ok, enough pics, LOL.

Thanks for looking!

Ps. My husband actually bought me a single red rose and some choccies today, so there is still hope! LOL. Happy Valentinesday!
Pps. For the girls that want to have a go at the project I made, check out the tutorial at floliescrap. The only trouble is, it's in French, and I don't speak french.. good luck! xx
