Memorial Day strawberries. The printable flags are from mrprintables.com
The idea for the strawberries was from multiple sources. I'll include a link to one of those in a few minutes. Enjoy your day in remembrance of our heroes. Known and unknown. Living and deceased. I hope you all are able to enjoy your day in the presence of loved ones.

Art Impressions Stamps and Watercoloring
This is an image from a new Art Impressions stamp set I just bought at Michaels. I used dies from Stampin Up for the image and the mount. I painted the image using watercolors. Well I entered this in the Art Impressions Blog Vintage Vibe challenge and I'm hoping people understand the ladies are "vintage"....as am I...getting better with age like a fine wine! You can see the challenge by clicking here

The image is from the online copic coloring class that is featured on the right side of my blog and is colored with copic markers. The watercolor background is based upon ideas learned in that class. The cardstock and ribbon are from Stampin Up. I believe they are rich razzleberry. The bling is from my stash from Michaels.

I have been watching every YouTube video I can find on coloring stamped images and have been playing with watercolors, copies and distress inks for a few months. This was colored with watercolors and a tiny bit of distress markets. The stamp is Dollie with Cupcake from The Greeting Farm. I stamped it with waterproof ink onto Strathmore watercolor paper then painted. The card stock and matching ribbon are from Stampin Up. I believe it is Rich Razzleberry. The patterned paper is from a 6x6 pack. I think it's Basic Grey. The sequins are from a big pack I purchased at Michaels. The videos I watched on YouTube can be found here and are from Kristina Werner. She is so very talented and so inspiring.

Trying to catch up with some projects
This was done on a $1 mug from Dollar Tree. I made the SVG from a public domain image and the font is Boingo. The mugs are a gift for my daughter's synchronized skating team and we are putting a pair of gloves and a packet of hot chocolate in them. They have their first competition this weekend!
All done on the amazing Cricut Explore!

Sorry the photo quality is so bad. I'll have to retake it but I wanted to do a comparison to my copic coloring from last week before I have been taking the Copic coloring class. It's looking better but I need lots more practice for sure.
The digistamp is from Whimsie doodles. See post below for link.
