Christmas Day

We had a very good Christmas! Santa was way good to us this year. Shaelynn asked santa for a wii, and Paeton asked for a pink barbie jeep. They both got what they asked for and more. Santa also brought all of us Band Hero to go with the wii. Its been the best present, we all have had way too much fun with it.

We made this cute little ginger bread house tonight for Santa. The girls had fun making it I told them never again, but I think I said it last time we made one too. I think Santa will like it though.

Winter Dance Recital

Shaelynn and Paeton danced at their winter dance recital on friday. They both did such a good job. They improved so much from last year, especially Paeton she actually looks like she is dancing now. Its so fun watching them dance, and they looked so cute! I'm so proud of both of them.

A Kid at Heart

On Monday we got SNOW! I couldn't believe how much snow came and kept coming. We measured once it was 14 inches and it kept falling after that. Ryan has wanted to go snowmobing for months now so when this snow came he just couldn't help himself. He came home for lunch and took off on the snowmobile. Later that night he took the girls out for a ride and they loved it.







Shaelynn went out when she got home from school and was out all afternoon. She wanted to make a snowman but the snow just wouldn't stick for her so she had fun playing in it.

He must be the real SANTA

I took the girls to see Santa at the mall. They were so excited to tell Santa what they wanted. Paeton ran and jumped on his lap very first and sat and talked to him. It wasn't very long ago that they cried when they sat on his lap, now they are on his lap before I even get there. On the way home Shaelynn said "Mom he must be the real Santa." I asked her why she thought that and she said "he knew we danced. If he wasn't the real Santa he wouldn't know that". When we got home I put the picture next to last years and Shae said once again "see mom its the same Santa as last year, he really is the real Santa".

This is my cute little Shaelynn when she was 7 months old. We were at the cabin, if I recall she was playing peek a boo with grandma Johnson. I was suprised this is the picture that showed up, I didn't know I had pictures of Shae on my computer from when she was that little.

A little update

We have been staying pretty busy latley. I started a new semester of school the 1st of November, so between school, work and kids we have stayed busy.
For Veterans Day, the Elementary school does a Veterans Day program. Shaelynn performed at it and so did Ryan. I didn't get a picture of Ryan playing taps but I was able to catch one of Shaelynn.



SNOW! The girls and Ryan were so excited to have snow, me not so much. They had to take advantage of it and play in it.



Family Night, For family home evening we decided to dance. Shaelynn has a High School Musical dance mat and we have found it to be pretty entertaining.

Halloween

Halloween started for me and Paeton on Thursday, we had our preschool Halloween party. Since I have two preschool classes we got to party twice in one day.

Halloween Day
Shae's school had a carnival that afternoon so our day started early. It was such a nice day and the girls had so much fun playing for 4 hours at the carnival. After the carnival they did trunk or treating at the park and then we went trick or treating. We were in the house and finished by 6:00 it was wonderful! Here are both of my cute little kitties, I feel bad I didn't get a picture of all 3 of us kitties but I got sick and so these little kitties were on there own this time around.

Yes we are expecting a little girl this March! We are so excited!

The Hunt

Here is the results of this years hunt. We had a good time, the weather was nice and it only took one evening of hunting.

Pumpkin Patch

I took my preschool class on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. The kids were so excited to go,we took a little ride out to the pumpkin patch and then each kid got to go pick out a pumpkin. They had lots of fun picking out their very own pumpkin. Its so fun having Paeton in my class, I enjoy being able to spend time with her.

This is Paeton's and Shaelynn's way to have fun while I shop. Paeton started it and this is what I found, then Shaelynn decided she wanted to join in the fun and I couldn't help but take some pictures.

Pet Day

Shae had Pet day at school. She took our dog Zeeke. He loved going down to Shae's school and being the center of attention, and so did Shae of cource. He was so good with all the kids and it was a exciting day for Shae being able to bring her dog to school.
