Washington

I recently took a trip up to Washington to have some fun and participate in a church basketball tournament with my family. I had a blast playing with my mother and my sisters Tina, Jill, Tasha, and Jenny. My athletic skills have greatly diminished over the years, but it was fun nonetheless and some great exercise. We also went on a variety of adventures including geocaching, the Children's hands on museum, four-wheeling with Grandpa, shooting BB guns, a three day long Canasta game with my parents, visiting with family and lots of games. We had a blast. Thanks everybody.
My phone was my camera and since it didn't work at my parents house, I didn't take any pictures. These were the only ones I got while we were geocaching of my nephew Tripp and my sister Tina at Borst Park.

July 24th

We lit a few sparklers to celebrate the 24th and spent an entire day as a family (which doesn't happen all that often anymore) so it was a great day.

Camping Crazies

We've had the opportunity to go camping a few times this year and have loved it. Gavin loves running in the woods pretending there are decepticons everywhere and Reese loves to get dirty and eat snacks all day long. So far we've camped at Payson Lakes, Timpanogos, and Lodgepole. Any suggestions of other great campsites?

The Whitakers camped with us at Timpanogos and thankfully one of our spots had some shade! Sean and Amy made it up a night as well, but I don't have any pics of them. Sorry guys.
The Fire Master! And notice Gavin's red mustache. He loved the kool aid and it left its mark.
There was this tree that Reese loved to "ride" screaming WEEEEE the entire time. She's so funny!

And at Lodgepole, this fellow kept wandering through our camp. We were on the outer perimiter of the campground next to a small group of trees. This guy apparently loved the foliage in that area because he kept coming back. Being the only campers in a tent, it was a little unnerving, but we left him alone and he left us alone. 20 feet from a massive moose is a little too close for comfort for me.

Reese's Birthday (Late Review)

I'm only a month late, but better late than never right?! Reese turned 2 on April 15th and we celebrated with a princess party and a fun outing to Chuck 'E' Cheese. Reese is such a fun little girl full of spunk. She may be a little shy at first, but once she breaks out of her shell, she is a blast to be around. We love you Reesey!

Here's Reese right after waking up. She got to run through a pile of balloons and loved it.
This was after opening presents and giving me a big "CHEESE"
She loved all the ride on toys at Chuck 'E' Cheese. Her face is so funny here!

And of course, the carriage cake. Sculpting a sphere was way harder than I had anticipated so it didn't quite turn out as I had hoped, but Reese like it nonetheless.

Wazowski's Birthday!

While some of my family was in town from Washington, we got to celebrate Mike's 30th Birthday. I have to tell you that I have absolutely horrible timing when it comes to pictures so I always catch everybody making terrible faces. So for your comic relief, I present to you my horribly timed pictures. Sorry guys, I couldn't resist!
I think Tina was coming in to give him a kiss or something, but it turned out horrible.
And all I can think when I see this is "Durh!" I'm laughing just typing this!

And here is Alyssa. She was cute no matter what picture I took. This was the first time I got to meet her. She is so cute and has tons of crazy black hair just like her daddy. Can't wait to see you guys again!
