If Uconn wins, Nicole picks up 6 points and will move into 3rd place

I don't think we've ever had a year where so many were dead before the Final Four or even more so for the National Championship.  That said it has been a very fun tournament with so many close games!

IT IS MADNESS!!!!

Here is a 2014 Blank Bracket for your consideration.

Please fill your bracket out with a black or blue pen so we can read them.

This year we are doing a Grand kids Bracket.  We will put them all in a separate pool from the adults.  It will be fun to see if they out score the grown-ups.  The rule for the grand kids is that they have to make the picks on their own.  So if they are really little, you have to let them flip a coin, or point, or draw from a hat, or some method you devise of your own that will work to allow them to choose.  Maybe you can put the mascots in a hat, and let them draw them out.  Then they can color them after.  (sounds like a lot of work)

Picks need to be sent to me or mom by March 20th around noon.  May the best Man, Woman, and Child win!

February Trip

Mom and I just got back from a little Presidents' Day Trip.  We went to Navoo and visited the temple.  Then in Paduca KY we stopped at the National Quilt Museum.  Then on to Sarah's & Brent's for a visit.  We visited the 101st Airborne Museum which was way cool.  While there they also drove us to Nashville and we went on a tour of the Grand Ole Opry.  It was very fun.  While they had us there, they invited us up on center stage in the old hardwood circle and we sang our first country duet.  Sorry no sound is available on this post, but I'm sure it will be topping the charts soon.  You'll just have to wait till then.

More pictures to come shortly from me or mom.  Thanks Sarah, Brent, Gwendolynn, and Christene!!!!

January Update

It has been a cold January to start off the new year.  We haven't had any big big snow storms, but it has  been so cold that not a single flake has melted.  Yesterday 1/30 we got a new 4" storm and we are out of room to put snow.

Mom and I were getting some quilting material and I found this material and it reminded me of Texas and was really bright, so Mom bought me some a sewed me a shirt.  Pretty cool huh
This is Benjamin's Christmas Gift Sweater.  It is toasty warm.  People wonder what kind of animal it is -- I think it is a moose.
This is Sarah and Brent's Christmas gift shirt.  Now I can feel part of the famous 101st.
Seems like this was the year for clothes and I needed them pretty badly
Here is the thermometer in the shop on a good day
without any heat going.  Most days it has been at 20 or lower.
Here is the thermometer in the shop after the heater has been
running the better part of the day.  It makes it so I can get
out there and work
I haven't scrolled for such a long time.  It has been really fun
to get back into it.
And here are the results.  I think this wood is coming
out really pretty.
