Every year the school hosts a breakfast for the kiddos grandparents. Since neither of ours live super close we haven't been able to participate (I remember one year Haley asking if we could "borrow" someone else's-ha). We are so excited that both are trying to move closer and are praying they sell quickly. This year we were happy to see that the breakfast was on the same day Grandpa was coming to visit. The students had made "quilt" squares that decorated the halls. The girls were so excited to take him for a donut:)
We have lived here now for 3 years and I just learned of this parade---Anyhoo---we sat by our friends and my kids were given handfuls of candy---literally. How could that not be fun?:)ha!
Addie plugging her ears:) Addie getting her groove on after all :)
I was in the kitchen and peeked outside the window and what did I see? My kids all lined up. A simple thing..but they were all getting along and being so creative. It was definitely a picture perfect moment for me. It's too bad you can't hear the sounds---laughter, childhood innocence, happines.
