Zoe won in two reflections categories this year; photography and visual arts. She is very artistic and we are so proud!

We went to St. George to trick or treat with cousins this year. The girls wanted to be cats. Big surprise! Little Ren was a very cute tootsie roll.

The girls did a cheer clinic at the local high school. They learned several cheers and a dance they performed at a Friday night football game.

We spent our first night camping at Posy Lake. It was Ren's first camping trip and he did wonderfully. We had him snug as a bug.
Our first hike was down to Calf Creek Falls. Nothing is more refreshing than jumping into ice cold water after a hot desert hike. Tyler and Casey took the plunge first.
Millie and I got away for a little bike ride to these amazing pictographs. We had a few minor set backs like chain problems, sand bogs, and being chased by a huge dog. But, it was a much needed excursion for the moms.

Fruita is always a must stop for lunch, fruit picking and swimming at the falls. Tyler couldn't resist jumping off the cliff. Here is Millie after swimming in the falls.

Then we headed into Salt Lake to the Clark Planetarium. Tyler had been wanting to take them, and didn't miss any opportunity to give a science lesson.

Since the 4th is just a few days after Zoe's birthday, she was lucky to get another birthday cake thanks to her Grandma Knudsen.
That evening the sunset was beautiful as it is most of the time in Erda. If you were wondering where Tyler grew up...this is it.
