HAPPY B-DAY CACHE!
It's hard to believe that he is already one. It just seems like yesterday when he was born.

And here is is today, a grumpy old man.
I tried to take a snap shot before church, but he was not giving me the time of day.
He really was not interested in the cupcake either. He just squished it around in his fingers, in his hair, on his face, on his high-chair tray, then all over the floor.
Oh, he did crack one little smile here. It didn't last long. It was followed by him crying, and waving his hands with cake flying everywhere.
As you can see here. He could hardly contain his excitement.Yeah, I'm 1.

POO/WHO?
I am trying to get out of there as fast as I can so that he'll stop crying. Meanwhile trying to not drop him. You know how easy it is to hold a wet, wiggly baby. That's always a fun way to start the morning. The house was smelling like a poop factory for the rest of the day.

AND SOMEONE THINKS THEY ARE A BEAUTICIAN?
I WONDER WHO IT COULD BE?

Yeah! Spud Harvest break is over

On our way home we stopped at the Tree house Museum in Ogden. The kids love going there.
Can you blame them?

Cache trying to put on the hat
Cache trying to get out of the log tunnel
Bridger and Colby checking out the dentist and Doctors office
I love this picture. Look at Cache's face. He is so scared.
McDonald's AGAIN:( I spent a small fortune feeding the kids McD's
Cache kept wanting my ice cream cone. Finally I just gave it to him. Love how he is eating it with his hands? He kept saying, "MMMMMMMMMMMM!" All in All, our spud harvest break was pretty uneventful. Just lots of chaos, but hey what's new!

"PARK" city
She invited us in to her quite, clean house. Which was no longer after my kids bombarded it. I am sure Molly was dying. My boys we sliding down her banister. Kicking a ball in the house and dropping it down from the loft. Pounding on her keyboard, ect, ect. We soon left for lunch. None of the kids wanted the same thing, so we had to go to Subway, McDonald's, and Cafe Rio.We went to a little park to eat our lunch. The kids did more playing, than eating.
And they would not leave Molly alone. They had lots of fun playing with her. This was a park that Molly use to take Lucy to. In fact the next day they were going to plant a tree in honor of Lucy at this park. Molly invited us to come up for the little "tree planting party". I was able to come back up for it. Molly wrote and read a poem "The LUCY TREE".
This is part of the poem that Molly wrote really touched me:
"I'll show you how to share your love with others on their way
Just as I'll give to children here who come to laugh and play
In shade and comfort mothers will rest beneath my outstretched boughs
Reminding them to treasure, as their children are young for but hours"
I read these words and I am reminded of what I need to be doing. Life gets so chaotic with 4 young children, let me rephrase that. Life gets so chaotic with 4 very crazy, very strong willed, young children. I really don't find myself enjoying anything, when everything is always mayhem. I need to listen to the words in her poem. I need to treasure these brief days of childhood.I am sure there will be many more children who will come to this park to laugh, play, and enjoy the shade from the Lucy tree. Here are some pictures of my kids laughing and playing in the park

I am glad that I randomly found Molly's house, so that I could spend this special day, with their family. I am thankful for a great friend who inspires me to do better.

West Yellowstone & Walking
We got to old faithful, just as it was done going off, so we had to wait around for an hour and a half to go off again. We had a picnic and the kids played a little football while we waited.
90 minutes later
Yes, that's the kids touching the water to make sure that it was reallyhot like the park ranger said.
Here's the kids running from the mist of the stinky sulfur pots.
So after driving in the car with the kids for 8 hours, John and I were reminded why we never like to take the kids any where.
This boy produces way more saliva than the average person. He constantly has a steady stream coming out of his mouth. His clothes are always saturated, and have to be changed often.
So if you are wondering why he has no pants on it's because Savannah took them off, and decided to wear them. I kept asking her to take them off and put them back on Cache, but these are all the excuses that she came up with.
They were all so believable too.I must say, he does make a pretty cute little girl
Okay, poor baby's had enough. Take of the wig, take off his pants and leave him alone.Posted by J. at 9:42 PM 8 comments
