OSU Homecoming! (October 2014)

We had such a great weekend in Stillwater!  We stayed with our sweet friends (Steve & Lacy) which the kiddos LOVED because their kids are the same age as S and C. Walk around, the Delt carnival, the parade, tailgating and the game were so much fun!

We made a quick stop at the Pi Phi house, but it was too dark to take a pic without the flash.

We stopped by Mimi's on the way out of town and saw Quent, Gena, Frankie and Memphis also :-)

First Broken Arm (October 2014)

Sweet pea fell over the back of the couch while he was talking to Mama.  He wasn't jumping or really even moving, but the angle of his tummy on the back cushion must have been perfect for it to happen.  Uncle Ben was on the couch next to him, but it happened so fast he couldn't even grab his legs.  We were worried about a concussion at first, but thankfully its only a broken (in two places) arm.  Bless this poor baby.  He cried HARD for about one minute and then fell asleep in my arms in the car on the way to Urgent Care.  We kept having to wake him up until they ruled out a concussion and after that he fell into a deep asleep. Once the pain meds kicked in he jolted awake and I swear it was like he was on speed. (Note to self… hide ALL the prescription pain killers.) 

Totally fine the next morning with the arm brace :-)

We went to the Orthopedic surgeon to see if he needed surgery or just a cast, and thankfully he only needed a cast.  Apparently kids this young heal really quickly :-) He chose orange (Go Cowboys!) and we will have it on for 8-12 weeks.  

No Cheetos at Chinese?? {April 2015}

This little guy is just the sweetest boy.  I know I've said that since he was born, but I just can't get enough of him. God blessed us tremendously with this little guy! So when he tries to order Cheeto's at a Chinese restaurant Mama makes it happen! Luckily I had some in the car because he is totally obsessed with them lately.

I love his joyful heart.  Everywhere we go he loves to smell flowers. So sweet :-)

Sweet 6 1/2! {March 2015)

This little beauty is 6 1/2 today! This age is SO fun and I just love to see how she's growing into a young lady.  This girl has my heart for sure :-)

Angel Fire {March 2015}

We decided (last month) that we wanted to take the kids skiing this season and did a whole lot of planning in a 24 hour period.  We were originally thinking we would wait until next year when C was closer to 3 1/2, but he's just so easy that we decided to give it a shot :-)

It was SO much fun and I'm so glad that we went! We drove and the kids watched lots of movies and slept part of the time.  It was nice to be on our own schedule and also to not have to rent a car.

The kids did AMAZING at skiing and loved every second of it.  We can't wait to go back!

V-Day 2015

I took the kiddos to do a mini-session for Valentine's Day lat weekend. I wasn't a huge fan on the backdrop options (and the photographer was interesting to say the least), but how cute are these babies?!  Love these sweethearts :-)
