FAmIiY PiCs: My Favorites

Dough Boys!

I was making cookies and so Canyon ran to the "KIDS COOK DRAWER" (the drawer in the kitchen where we keep all the child size cooking tools).
He pulled out a bunch of things and we decided to add PLAY DOUGH. It wasn't long before Jaxon stopped what he was doing and joined in. Between batches I took pictures and experimented with lenses. It was a lovely hour of fun in the kitchen.

Sisters Day! Time out for Women

NATALIE, AMY, BOBBI
One day and one night to be together as sisters with no kids.
(We have 14 kids between us so this was a very big accomplishment
For our wonderful husbands )
As you can imagine we crammed as much in as possible:
Christmas Shopping
Errands
Dinner Out
A Movie
Visiting/Reading/Intelligent conversation
A Little Sleep
Garage Sales!
A Day Session at "TIME OUT FOR WOMEN"
(Inspiring, uplifting, motivating, relaxing)
Lots of Laughing
& Lunch: the best Pizza I have ever had!

We were so busy we forgot to record any of it with pictures except for this one we snapped at the very end with my phone.  I'm sure that means we had FUN!!!!!!

Halloween

This year on HALLOWEEN a JAZZ CAT, MONKEY, VAMPIRE, ZOMBIE and SUPERMAN all lived at our house for a day.(Well they actually came and went all month, practice makes perfect)
It was very wild and rather creepy at times.
At 6 we turned them loose on the neighborhood and they came back with loads of Candy!
In our family you never grow to old to take part in Holiday Traditions like dressing up.
I was a witch of course.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Kasen invited me to join him on his field trip to the pumpkin patch. I didn't get out of Montessori in time to ride the bus. So Jaxon and I drove over and met him there. We helped all his friends choose pumpkins and  Clip off the vines. Kasen loves being in Kindergarten at Highland and all the fun adventures they have. Montessori Kindergarten is equally enjoyable in different ways. Last month Kasen learned to read! Hooray! He is so proud to share his books with us at home.
It has made bedtime stories a whole new experience for him. He feels so big.
Being 5 is FUN!
