A Trip to the ER

Well we were suppose to be on a plane this morning at 7:15am. As you can see in the picture above that didn't happen. Poor Carson was running into my bathroom and tripped and smacked his forehead right into this marble edging that out lines the shower. His head split open and the blood started flowing. I was right there to see it all including the blood!! We jumped in the car as Jason held a towel over his gash and I drove us to the hospital. This all happened around 5:00am. Carson was so good about the whole thing. He didn't cry at all on the way there. Thank goodness Jason was here to help carry him and all. About an hour and a half later Jason and Carson walk out of the ER with a inch and a half gash, and six stitches. We missed our flight, but as we speak we are trying to get on a later one. I'm just ready for a nap at this point, let alone getting ready to head out again! Hopefully this is the last of anything major, I'm crossing my fingers!

Merry Christmas To All

And we are off to Utah tomorrow morning for Christmas break. Only we will be gone until January 8Th. I cant believe its already time to leave. The boys are so excited to see their cousins and grandparents! Chase even took the liberty of packing his own bag the other day and rolled it out and said "Okay Lets Go Everyone"! I'm for sure worried somewhat because I'm taking all three kids on a plane for the first time by myself!! Jason has to stay and work for 6 days until he will come and join us. I have no idea how this will turn out, but I am having Jason give all of us a blessing tonight! We will be staying in different areas while we are there including: Springville, Logan, Whitney Idaho, and Salt Lake area to see our friends the Macks. I'm very excited and cant wait to see everyone, its been way to long! Well I really hope that everyone will have a wonderful Christmas and New Years! I appreciate all my family and friends who have shown me so much support, and love!

Family

This was something I made for Jason for part of my anniversary gift to him. I really do love making things for others. I got this idea from a lady in my ward. I used the letters to spell Family instead though. I also blew up family pictures of the kids and hung them up. I surprised Jason when he got home from a long trip. When he got home he got to see the new decor for the house. Its something that will remind us of our year we had together, and how it all boils down to "Family"

Avery Update

Avery is now 21 months and counting! I cant believe how much she has changed even from a few months ago. She is our little munchkin who has her own little personality. She has recently started to scowl at people. I'm not sure what the deal is but she will let you know if she is not pleased with you. She has also started to really say "NO" and use her pointer finger to scold you. I hope this is just a faze and she will go back to smiling all the time. Avery has really enjoyed watching all the "Barbie" movies. I think her favorite word going on a few months is "BARBIE" she says it all the time. The funny part is when she wakes up from sleeping she says "Barbie" instead of the classic mom and dad! It cracks us up. Avery loves playing with dolls and reading her books. I think her favorite food is Doritos! She also loves Mac and Cheese, peas, corn, pizza, yogurt, and french fries. She still uses her signing to say more, food, please, thank you, sorry, shoes, cracker, and more. She laughs so cute and loves to give hugs and kisses. She loves her pink blanket from Aunt Conny. She still cuddles with her dad any moment she can. She loves her brothers so much and hugs them as soon as they get home from school. She still dances around and loves music. I just cant believe how independent she has become, so quickly. I love spending time with her. I do know one thing that I don't enjoy about Avery is plane rides! Yikes, I hope she does better as she gets older!

since it took me so long to get this post done, Avery is now 21 months. My little girl is not so little anymore.

Christmas Hands

My sister in law Stacey Vincent showed us how to make these really cool wreaths out of your hand. Carson had so much fun helping make these wreaths. All you need is construction paper and your hand! You trace your hand a whole bunch of times then cut them out and glue in a circle. You can add anything else you would like to make a bow or what not. They look really neat once you hang them. The kids really enjoyed this fun Christmas craft. Thanks Stace for the great idea!

A Garage Sale Christmas

Here are a few of things I found for the kids. The main ones are the bike for Carson and the scooter for Chase! I found a bike for Avery and a play kitchen with food. You can hardly tell these items where used. They love it!!

Since we will be in Utah for Christmas this year, we decided to get the kids stuff they needed from Craigslist or garage sales. Since Florida has nice weather year round everyone has garage sales. "Did I mention I love going garage sale ling"! So I think I spent 25-30 bucks on everything I wanted to get them. As you can see in the pictures we already gave them there gifts. First reason we had no where to hide the bikes, and Two I'm so inpatient I wanted them to have it. I do have to say this is the cheapest Christmas we have ever had, and seriously it was so fun trying to hunt everything down. Oh did I mention I'm still wearing shorts and flip flops!!! Today it was 85 degrees! I Love Florida!! sigh......

So Comfortable!

We were watching a Christmas movie, and I look over at Chase and see him propped up on his knees totally asleep! He is my one that can sleep in any position at any time. As we speak he hasn't budged at all. Its been 45 min. I guess he is comfortable!

A Tip To Pass On

My niece Victoria taking her medicine with ease!

My sister in law Stacey Vincent that was here visiting for Thanksgiving had a great idea to get kids to take there medicine. Avery has been sick this past week and every time I go to give her medicine she puts up a fight and it ends up all over her or the floor. My niece Victoria was also sick and had to take medicine while she was visiting and did it with ease! I totally thought this was an excellent way to get kids to take there medicine and swallow it! You just take a straw and use it in those open medicine measurement spoons and then they drink it out of a straw. I tried it with Avery and it worked with ease!! I'm so excited about this method I wanted to pass it along to all those who go through the fun of getting your kids to swallow medicine. Thanks Stacey for the great idea!

13 Articles of Faith (by Carson and Chase Aller)

Carson

Carson helping Chase with #3

So this was an older video I got of the boys back in October. Every night before we go to bed we sing songs and work on memorizing the 13 Articles of Faith. After going over them we then read the Book of Mormon together. So Carson is actually now on memorizing #5. Chase has the first two down and then needs assistance on the third. So I took a video of them saying the ones they know. It was so cute because in one of the videos Carson wanted to help Chase with the 3 Article of Faith and if you wait till the end you hear Carson getting upset because Chase messed up on a word! Sooo Funny!

Our Thanksgiving Week

(My wonderful brother Kelly and me at the movies

All the cousins gathered around "Buzz Light Year', and feeding the Swans at the park

I had such a awesome, fun, entertaining Thanksgiving! My older brother Kelly (who is a twin) came out with his family. His wife Stacey, and four girls Klarrisa, Savannah, Victoria, and Isabella also joined us for a Florida Thanksgiving. It was so much FUN! we filled everyday with an activity and or Disney! Carson, Chase and Avery had a ball playing with there four cousins. Since now living here for 6 months I was able to show them around Orlando and so on. I think we fit everything in I wanted to do with them except a few items. We went to Downtown Disney, Disney World, The Swan Park (as I call it) Paradise Park (which is awesome) Ate by beautiful lakes near by, and also ate at the worlds largest McDonald's. We stayed up way too late every night laughing and talking and or watching movies! Aunt Stacey made some crafts with the kids (which I will post later) and believe it or not I baked some awesome Pumpkin Spice Cookies that my sister in law Jamie Vincent sent me! I put my Christmas decor up along with my fake Christmas tree. I had the kids help put the ornaments on. It looks good by the way! We then had a mini Christmas while they were here and opened presents. The boys got Nerf guns that shoot soft darts, and Avery got a new Cabbage Patch infant baby doll. She loves Baby's!! It was so great to have family around for Thanksgiving this year! I sure do miss living close too everyone. Kelly, Stacey and Girls thanks for making this holiday a memory I will never forget! Miss and Love you guys Cam

"Oh Boy"!

Well this will be our first time with receiving a note from Chases teacher with not so good news! It just happened Monday December 1st and I was surprised to read the note from the teacher. This is what his teacher wrote:

12-01-08 Chase had to be spoken to several times today during Plan-Do-Review for saying "OH CRAP". Could you please talk to him and remind him that it is not for school? Thank You!

Jason and I " OH Boy"! So we talked to Chase about it and I'm not sure he really understood what we were saying to him, but he did say " Okay I won't", So we will see. On a side note, Chase does tend to say when something happens, "Oh Crabby" and I have heard him say "Oh Crabs" before so it might of been a misunderstanding. I think he got it from watching the "Sponge Bob" movie awhile ago. I'll let you know if I receive another note or phone call.

"Look out Dancing with the Stars"

Avery just loves to watch "Barbie and the Nutcracker" She loves to get up and copy the Sugar Plum Fairy when she dances. There is a part at the end of the movie where the Nutcracker turns into a prince and they both dance together! Well Avery demands that her brothers each get to dance with her at that part. She is so funny when she goes looking for one of her brothers to dance with. So you will have to watch the video of Chase dancing with Avery. Watch the whole thing so you can see Chase hit a pose at the end like the prince does. "Its so fun to see Avery dancing around and loving ballet already"! Enjoy

Happy Anniversary ( 8 Years Baby )!

EST. November 22, 2000

To the love of my life, I want to say Happy Anniversary! I still cant believe its been 8 years already!! Sometimes it feels like we have been married at least 25 years with all the craziness we have gone through. And not to mention moving 3 times in 9 months. I'm truly the luckiest woman in the world. You are not only my husband, a father to my children, but you are my best friend and soul mate. My heart is full of respect, compassion, gratitude, joy, and love for you. As the saying goes "You Complete Me" I have learned so much from you that is dear to me. I also love when you simply look at me and smile. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful father you are to our children. I see the joy in the kids faces as they wrestle with you or run around the house as you chase them. You are always so complimentary to me on a daily basis, which brightens my day, and also continues to give me confidence. I still love our cuddle dates on the couch while we watch our political news shows. Your hugs are simply the best, I feel so safe and protected in your arms. I cant begin to tell you how much I love you, except I do have eternity to show you! Happy Anniversary Jason I love you!

Enrichment Night

I was asked to be in charge of a Thanksgiving table for Enrichment night. I love crafts and making things, so this was so much fun. As you see in the picture below my table ideas!

Sorry I had to take two pictures to fit it in. I got most of my ideas off of Family Fun.com I love this website. As pictured; I made a (FALL) letter block decor, and next to that is directions on how to make Pumpkin Pie Play dough for the kids. I will try to post the directions on that one. In the very back on the table I have different size picture frames with the letters spelling the word (LEAVES) It looks so cute on a shelf or counter top.

This picture has a fun way to write down and display what your thankful for. I took a branch from a tree outside then stuck it in a soup cup I had. Then tied raffia for loops to hold the thankful tag on. When your guest come in the house you can have it out for them to write on the tags then have them hang it on the branch. You can read when gathered at the table. Also for name holders I saw a cute idea to paint rocks whatever color you want and then write the names of your guests on them by there plates. They are called "Plymouth Rocks" Then I did my Pilgrim hat deserts. I have these directions on a post below. I also made Fall magnets for your fridge; they can also be for the kids to play with while waiting to eat! I also made a garland hanging from the front of the table. It says "Give Thanks" It was so fun to find stickers and lettering to make this. I have a few other small items but they don't show in the pictures.

It was a wonderful Enrichment activity the Relief Society put on. It had a wonderful message and we even worked on some service projects for family's and children less fortunate. I now have some Thanksgiving decor for my house that I didn't before! Happy crafting!

"What's in your Boot"?

So for whatever reason it has been cold here this week. I really thought I had left the cold weather behind in the mid-west! "I actually think it followed us here"!

So anyway I decided it was time to get the old "UGG" boots out and put them to use! My tootsies were freezing this morning! So as I'm slipping one of them on I feel like I just stepped on a pile of rocks! After saying "Ouch" I pulled it off and dumped out a bunch of cherries! "Can I say RANDOM"!! I said to my self out loud; "OOH, so that's where the "Hi Ho Cheerio" game pieces went"! Good news though, my feet stayed warm the rest of the day! :)

So what I want to know from you is "What's in your boot"?

I'm not Surprised!

A quick update on Chases thumb nail
The other week he came home with a band aid on his thumb and I asked "what happened"? He said he got pasta sauce in his nail and the teacher put a band aid on it! (Me) " OK" that made me feel a little faint. So I took the band aid off to look at it, and sure enough his finger nail was coming off! So as of this Monday he no longer has a purple and blue thumb nail. He seems to not care about his thumb so that works for me. It does look pretty nasty right now!

Update on his glasses
He came home from school the other day with just one lens in his glasses. I'm actually surprised his glasses lasted two months to be honest! The teacher left a note in his bag that said they all tried to look for the lens but had no luck. Now he wont be able to see until we can get them fixed. I really wonder where his lens went?, and amazed he still has the one left?

Marshmallow's
Then tonight he made a huge mess with some marshmallows as you can see in the picture. I don't know what goes through his mind, but I guess its all fun for him! He mushed about four large marshmallows together in his hands for whatever reason, then came to me upset that his hands were sticky? I did however laugh as I was washing him up! He cracks us all up and keeps us very entertained! "What a mess"

Upcoming Events

All right time to share my upcoming events. This is a very busy time of year for me. I "LOVE" the holiday season. I'm such in a good mood and excited to see family and friends. This year my brother Kelly and his wife Stacey along with their 4 girls are coming out in a week to spend Thanksgiving with us. I cant wait to see everyone and the kids will have plenty of play mates! I have also been sewing like crazy along with craft making for Christmas gifts for friends and family. I wish I can post pictures of what I'm doing, but it will ruin the surprise! I will post later though! Since both sides of my family are large and growing by the years, I usually make all my nephews and nieces the Christmas gifts for each family. I have so much fun coming up with a new idea, and I totally enjoy making each one. So lets see this year I'm making around 30 of this gift. Its a lot of work but I think its going to come in handy for everyone. I also have been working on my projects for Enrichment Night this coming Thursday. I was asked to be in charge of a Thanksgiving idea/craft table. I have also been very busy with this project as well. I love this kind of stuff so its no problem to say YES! I will show a few sneak peaks of what I will be displaying. Also I have a fun recipe dessert idea that is fun for the kids.

After Thanksgiving I have just two weeks to get things ready for Christmas, I also have to pack the three kids and I to get ready to leave for Utah. We will be spending Christmas with Jason's family and will be there for almost three weeks. The down side to this all is I have to fly with the three kids for the first time by myself. Jason will be meeting us out there a few days later. Yikes does anyone have any ideas to help get me through this. I have no idea how the kids will do especially Avery!! So anyway just a few updates on my end.

I Made This!

I made this for my sister Conny who helped me for a week when I had my surgery. Its made out of Fleece, and the colors are brown and turquoise. This was not easy! "Conny I hope this keeps you warm this winter, because It made me sweat making it here in Florida"!!

Orlando Temple

I'm so grateful to live near a temple. Living in Florida has been so wonderful. I love my new ward and the people are just awesome. Since I feel settled in now, I have made it a goal to attend the Orlando Temple every other Friday. I have now been twice and Jason is going this Friday. I want to find a babysitter soon so that Jason and I can go together. I'm also really delving into genealogy work for my family. I find it coming to the top of my list as soon as all the holidays are over. I attended a Family History class the other week and found it so helpful and motivating. I feel we have been truly blessed since moving to Florida and having the Temple so close.

Gas Prices Drop!

Why is it that I feel the need to drive just because the gas prices drop. I have been in a better mood even because of the drop! Here in Florida I have paid $2.07; I know some of you pay even lower, and yes I'm happy for you! Just because it dropped I feel like I need to leave my house for who knows the reason just so I can take advantage of filling up for half the price. As for Jason, I told him to travel as much as he can while the prices are low, he looked at me like "Hey I'm finally working from home like you like" (Me) Of course I like it when your home, I just like that you can get extra on your pay check from not having to spend all your money on the $4.00 gas prices as you travel the whole state of Florida weeks at a time! Well that is my thought on that subject.

Home Made Baby Wipes ( this is way cool!)

ADD...
2 1/2 cups warm water
1 Tbsp. Baby Oil
2 Tbsp. Baby Lotion
2 Tbsp. Baby Wash
Whisk together until all mixed and frothy.
Place 1/2 roll of select size Bounty paper towels jagged side down, cover and flip over.

In a plastic container big enough to fit a 1/2 roll of paper towels

Let sit for a few hours while all the liquid soaks in.

Flip back over and pull out the middle of the paper towel roll.

Then pulling from the middle of the roll, your wipes are complete!

I have found this to be a very easy, nice on little baby bums and extremely affordable! I am still on my first bottles of oil, lotion and baby wash and Talan is already 9 months old. The Bounty select size paper towels are usually around $2.00 a roll so that's $1.00 each time I make a batch. (To All this was my sister in laws sisters idea) I have not tried it yet, but will be very soon. I think this is a great idea!

Halloween at the Aller's 2008

Man I tell you what people in our neighborhood are intense about Halloween. Most every house had major decorations out and the adults really got into it. This one video below had this guy so into being "Jason" with a bloody sword and body parts everywhere. He guarded the candy and scared everyone. You can see Chase was trying to figure this one out. We had a ball Halloween night and the kids had a blast! Avery really got into the whole holding her candy bucket out with the boys and would stand there until she got at least two or three pieces. SO FUN! I just want to thank my kids for all the yummy Snickers bars and chocolates! I couldn't have gotten them with out you guys!!

So Funny!

Carson and Chase just love "Spider Man" No joke Chase has memorized the movies and acts them out even. So Carson and Chase one night entertained us with a little bit of Spider man. They were imitating the part of Spider Man in the first movie were he tries to figure out how to shoot his web. Both boys kind of mumbled what the lines were but this is what is said. "Go web" "Kazam" "Fly" "up Up in a way web" "Go, Go web Go" and then he gets the web to go and they take it and swing! We laughed all night, it was so much fun! Watch both videos

"I Voted, and I Now Feel Better"!

Yes I live in Florida were they are huge on this voting early. I'm totally fine with that especially having three kids to find time to go vote. So yes I voted last Wednesday and now I feel better. Some of you may now that Jason and I love politics. I totally turned into a political junkie since last year. During the day I have on talk radio in the car our at home. I think my TV is always on Fox News. "Yes I'm a Rush Limbaugh fan" My favorite thing I love to do with Jason is cuddle up with him once the kids are in bed and watch The O'riley Factor! Yes I know some of you are gagging, and think "I could never", but hey that's why your not me!! I have core conservative principals that I know came from my parents at a young age. Also being a church member plays a heavy role in the morals and values of each candidate. This election is so important that I think its a shame if your voting for a candidate that you have no idea where they stand! One thing I know is that I love being an American and living in a free country! I only hope after this election it gets to stay that way. I can go on and on but I wont. I think you got the idea who I might of voted for? As they say "May God Bless America"

Pre-Halloween

Here are some pre- Halloween pictures of the kids. We went to our church Fall Festival party last weekend. The kids had so much fun, and I even got to teach some line dancing. Avery won 2nd place in her age category for best costume. Carson was Batman, and Chase was Indiana Jones. We will be carving pumpkins tonight and then of course going Trick or Treating tomorrow night. I will post more I'm sure after Halloween. Have a great Halloween everyone!!
