Nursury

Some of you have asked what the nursury theme was this time so here are some shots of the twins' jungle.

The lions need some work but they look a sight better than my "blue chickens" from Carson's nursury.

Happy New Year!

A little late but we've had our hands full latley...
Ethan made it home last Sunday and has since gained 8 ounces. Looks like Daddy isn't the only one to gain weight with all the yummy food around here.

Auntie Alana extended her stay a couple days and was big help when Connie had to rush Carson to the hospital with a high fever this week.

Here are some updated pictures of the two "littles"

Picture Update and ETA

The babies are doing great. Emily is eating well and has taken the last 7 feedings by bottle. It's starting to look like we'll get our wish and be able to take her home Christmas day.

Here are some updates to our picture collection.

Mommy is home!

Connie was released yesterday and came home to recooperate with us...and promptly went on to make dinner for her family and sister-in-law. So much for taking it easy. She is doing great and thanks everyone for their well wishes and flowers.

The twins are still in the hospital until such time as they eat enough to satisfy the nursing staff. We are hopeful they will be home with us this coming Friday; Monday at the latest. It has been very hard on us to leave them but we realize they are getting the best care possible there.

Pictures to follow later today...

The Twins Are Here!

The twins were born on December 18, 2008, about 4 weeks earlier than they were due but the timing was perfect for us. We both agree that Emily looks a lot like her mom and Ethan is the spitting image of Carson when he was born (who has turned out to be a clone of his father).

Ethan Wolf at 4:07pm, 6lbs 1oz and 18.5 inches

The twins are doing great but are still in the neonatal nursery until such a time as they get better at eating. Mommy is doing great and recovering quickly. Unlike with Carson she didn’t have to suffer through hours of labor so she was far more coherint this time around for the delivery.

Daddy was able to spend about an hour with the twins as they were cleaned and tested. For the next couple of days Carson and Daddy are going to be hanging out and wishing we could be with Mommy…and trying to prepare ourselves for the new additions to our lives.

Thank you for your love and support. More updates to come...
