Merry Christmas Everybody!

Tyler loved his first Christmas. He was so cute and loved his presents. Santa brought him lots and lots of toys and some really cute outfits too. He mostly wanted to eat the wrapping paper though! Here are some of the highlights of the day.

Our Christmas Trip

Well, Christmas is over and Tyler had quite an adventure. We went down to Florida for Christmas this year so Tyler enjoyed 80 degree weather for his first Christmas. He also got to meet a lot of Shaun's family that he had never met before.
Tyler is now sitting up for short periods of time on his own and is rolling all over the place. I think he'll be crawling soon too. He is getting really good at "tummy time" and will push up really far with his arms or plant his head on the ground and scoot up to his knees. If he can figure out how to put them together he'll be crawling!

I have so many pictures to post that I am going to split this up into two different posts.

Five months old already!

Tyler is five months old already and growing like a weed. He's actually finally starting to fill out a little bit. He is getting to be such a big boy.

One new thing he learned to do is blow raspberries. Unfortunately he likes to do it while he eats. What a mess!

He always needs a bath after cereal time!

He rolls and rolls and is actually starting to enjoy tummy time now.

He loves his Zeus doggie and wants to pet him all the time

Nothing New - Just Cute Pictures

Nothing new is really happening so I just thought I'd post some recent cute pictures! (even though Shaun swears Tyler started to crawl a little bit last night, but I haven't seen it yet - LOL)
Plums are messy but they are also super yummy!

For some reason this is the only toy Tyler likes to play with

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving. Shaun, Tyler, and I just stayed home and had a friend over. We made (and ate) way too much food still though! Next year Tyler will be able to help us out with eating all of the left-overs though. This year he just stuck with his cereal and his plums.

It snowed last week, so Tyler got to see his first snow!

We have to dress very warm when we go out now too

An Tyler is now officially a Panthers Fan!

Tyler is 4 months old - Can you believe it?

Tyler turned four months old on 11/7 and is getting to be a very big boy. He had a good check-up - weighed in at 13 lbs. 9 oz. and was a whopping 26 1/4 inches long! He is in the 90th percentile for length and the 25th percentile for weight...a tall, skinny little boy.

The doctor recommended that we start him on single grain cereal to help manage his acid reflux. Now he eats a little bit of oatmeal at night before he goes to bed. It doesn't help him sleep any longer, but he doesn't spit up so much at night now.

He finally started really laughing this past week too! It is the coolest noise ever. He'll laugh when you play with him or tickle his ribs...he loves it.

Tyler started "sleep training" this week too. Basically we are getting him to learn to sleep in his crib for all naps and all through the night and to soothe himself to sleep. He cries sometimes (which is just as hard on mommy & daddy as it is on poor Tyler) but has never cried for more than 15 minutes and even took his morning nap today without crying at all! He slept for a whole 1 1/2 hrs. in his crib without waking up! That's a huge deal for this little boy.

He's getting so big and independent. He won't be a little baby for much longer.

What is this stuff?

I guess it is pretty good, but what a mess!

Happy Halloween!

Tyler decided he wanted to be a cute, cuddly lion this year and boy was he adorable! Roar!

It's Finally Fall

Fall has finally arrived at our house and the leaves are changing and getting really pretty. Here are some pictures of Tyler experiencing it for the first time.

Trip to California - Part 2

Though Tyler had a blast meeting his cousins and playing with his Aunts and Uncles, by the time the week ended he was ready to come home.
He did enjoy going to his Aunt Kelly's wedding and thought she looked like a princess.

Welcome to the family Uncle Stephen!
