AGFT

OH! I love the AGFT! (Annual Gileadi Fake Thanksgiving). We usually celebrate Thanksgiving early, which is nice if you are married and have to figure out if you're going to go to the in-laws or your own family's holiday gatherings.. Plus you get two Thanksgivings! We had this two weeks early this year cause Chava's family was in town from San Diego.I didn't get any pictures of the food on the table (dang! it was beautiful) but here are some fun pics of everyone hanging out.. As I was taking this picture, I told Yoni to "Mash them potatoes!!" He looks thrilled about that order, doesn't he?Suren, my adorable nephew and soon to be Saxon's cousin! Cute! He loves his blankey.Kale'a is ridiculously cute as well.Miriam brought her boyfriend? over for AGFT! Man, my camera was shooting everyone with scary red eyes that night. Anyway, the kid was pretty cool. I'm sure he was overwhelmed by our large and boisterous family. This is our best attempt at taking a picture ourselves at arm's length while we were chillen on the couch. OH we're such a cute couple :)Suren is feeling Saxon in the belly! I wonder if he understands there's a baby in there, or if he thinks I just got really fat, really fast...Everyone hanging out... That's what we do best--besides play games! Especially Mafia. We played a few games of Mafia before the food was all done and it was hectic, loud, and so much fun! (that's the way I like it). Mafia is our favorite Gileadi game.. It's probably cause Gileadi sounds like an Italian mafia name.Saxon's soon to be daddy! Oh man he's handsome! My brother Sam is so stylish with his hat! Suren loves uncle Sammy.

My brother, Avi and his wife Megan were lovin the bean bag, and Eugene Dawgins (the newest addition to Yoni's family)I can't believe that Daniel (the youngest) has outgrown pretty much all of our brothers!! The only competition left is Avi...watch out Avi.
Oooh! A card game! This is what it's all about.. even though I was feeling too lazy to join in, it looked very fun. This was also a good alternative to the extremely long game of Risk that all the boys were playing.. They play into all into the night!
Here they are getting ready. They take the game of Risk very, very seriously. Every time I would walk into the room to try to get Chris to leave with me, Yoni would look at me with an anxious, obsessed-about-Risk look, to back off ;)The armies are prepared!Kale'a was helping her daddy try to win... to bad it didn't work. Actually, I don't think anyone won because it ended up being 2 a.m. and the game was still going, so they eventually just stopped. Good call boys.

What a fun time! Don't you agree, turkey?

HEE HAW!

On Halloween night, Chris and I went to a place called Hee Haw's. It's a farm that has fun corn mazes, rides and animals. Unfortunately, they didn't have the animal that actually says "hee haw," so I found my own. This donkey is adorable! :)

This pig actually was there, and he is HUGE! All he does is sleep, and sometimes wake up a grunt a bit. What a life!We watched these pigs for quite a while. They made the most terrible noises but were very entertaining. It was a very cold night, so they were trying very hard to stay warm in a little pig pile. However, the pig pile never worked because the pigs on the outside kept trying to jam themselves in tighter and would disrupt the whole pile, and they'd have to start the pig pile again. This we watched over and over again, and were very (easily) entertained! This goat was mean. We were trying to feed the little baby goats and he would buck them out of the way and eat the food. But we still liked him; he has a cool beard.Chris feeding the goaties! This is bunny land. They have their own tiny bunny houses and even a tiny bunny garden! (not featured)This is in the corn maze. I was trying to hide to scare Chris, but he didn't really get scared for some reason. This is Chris in the corn maze. I thought I'd take a picture, but then realized that he was going pee!We got really scared in the corn maze. Glad I wasn't in there alone! We were scared until we found this big slide right in the middle of the maze! Then we were happy and slid down.
HEEEHAW! What a fun night! Not as fun as scaring all the little trick-or-treating kids, but very fun nonetheless.

Halloween!

This is Chris' amazing pumpkin in it's prime. We carved pumpkins at my brother, Yoni's cabin a few days before Halloween. It was lots of fun! Now this great pumpkin is now outside our house, shriveled and even more sad looking... Haha my nephew, Coen, kept laughing at this pumpkin and it's poked out eye and guts! The bat pumpkin is mine. But I really like the one next to it, eating the carmeled apple. Yoni made it and named it Chris, cause Chris ate around 4 carmeled apples that night. Almost all of us at the cabin with our pumpkins! What a fun night. This is at the Fryer family Halloween Party! I'm a pregnant Nun and Chris is Fryer Tuck. Don't tell anyone about our affair! (We are supposed to be celibate.)Miriam, my sister, and my niece Kale'a came to the party with us! Christopher's family :)Kale'a tried on Chris' monk wig. Isn't it cute?

FALL BREAK!

We started out to St. George with a new toy--well, Chris did. He got a new Treo phone that he played with the entire way down while I drove. This is us at IHOP eating breakfast...at 1:30 pm because we stayed up so late when we got there!Hot chocolate and orange juice YUM! ..We look tired, huh? I got a little excited about actually using our camera, so I took random pictures like this, that you get to enjoy! So we set the camera for a ten second timer so we could get both of us in the picture by this fountain. We held a cute kissing pose forever, and right when we stopped, it took the picture! This is in front of an art museum that we checked out in St. George... There was the coolest, big painting there and it was pretty tempting to buy it, but it was around $3,700..This is a place called Dinasaur Tracks that has just that. They discovered them near St. George in the mud and there are some really cool footprints and drag prints from swimming dinosaurs in the water.. You can tell how excited Chris is to pose!Wish you could see the prints more clearly, but they were pretty cool.
This picture is a bit better, that's Chris' hand compared to the scary dino's hand. I was once a scary Dino as well, at Carbon High...This place is on top of a huge butte (haha that sounds funny)...mesa, if you will, where we ate the best steak ever and and looked over the city. This is a huge bridge by La Verkin and it's having a hard time competing with the size of my belly. This is on our way to Zions National Park! This is in Zions! We did some short hikes cause of time and belly constraints, but it was beautiful there. We did the lower, middle, and upper Emerald Pool hikes. This little waterfall is at the lower pool.Oh, cute! By the waterfall again...The girl that took this picture thought I was crazy for hiking with my huge belly... she should see me kickbox!I really love how this tree is in the middle of the canyon walls with the steps. What a cool place.Chris almost fell in...good thing I know first aid.

Another one of my favorite spots of the hike. This is at the upper pools, where no one seems to go but it's the best of all the pools! This twisty tree intrigues me.There were lots of pools at the upper part, it was so beautiful, especially with all the autumn leaves. Chris was trying to spit his water from his Camelback onto the water skeeters, but they are too fast! He almost caught a little lizard with a noose made of grass, too, but those guys are even faster.
Cool little cave on the hike...
This river at another hiking area... Can you see the bird on the left side? Couldn't figure out what kind it was, but was was way cool looking. I think he's a'fishin. We got a little goofy. It was so refreshing to be outside in Zions, we felt much more happy! Connecting with nature once in awhile in a must! The majestic view at the top of the road. We rode the shuttle all the way up the canyon and it was worth it!
That night, we went to a show called 42nd Street at the Tuacahn Theatre! It was a way good show and the place is so cool. Check out this water feature! The theatre is outdoors, surrounded by canyon walls. We had a great dinner there and met lots of older people who were visiting St. George for the World Senior Games. They were fun to talk to... I should've got picture with them and all their medals around their necks!Us at the show...
This guy was in the cast. He was Chris' favorite character. I really liked the costumes. This girl said "not to toot my own horn, but I have the best costume!" haha. But I think I'd agree with her.
These ladies were the stars of the show. There was really great tap dancing, singing, and even fireworks and waterworks in the background! It was such a fun show!
While we were staying at Grandma and Grandpa's house in St. George, we learned how to float!
Chris taught me. He's a good floater. Don't ask us how it works, but I think it's just the house that does it.This is the house we stayed at. I love palm trees!
On our way back, we stopped at Kolob Canyon in the upper part of Zions. If you drive down south, I highly suggest stopping here. It's amazing and right off the I-15!
