Block Party

We had a great time at our neighborhood block party! We are all caught up on the neighborhood gossip ;) I am now looking forward to forcing Jeremy to go to the craft fairs with me this weekend! (It shouldn't be too hard to convince him, he LOVES funnel cakes)

THE game

Sooooo my husband hasn't slept all week due to the Arkansas/Alabama game. I REALLY hope we win.....for the sake of my sanity! All is well here :)

Very Busy

So August was a very busy month for the Hanna's! I neglected our blog :( however, here are some things that we have been up to:

Jeremy started back to school again; he is almost done with his degree in Fire Science! He has been very busy lately with homework.... and Fantasy football.

As most of you know, school started again so I have been very busy! I have a great class this year! Each year gets easier :) I am trying to go back to college to earn my Masters, so I am really excited! Hopefully it all works out! I will find out for sure around the first part of October.

Jeremy and I recently bought a new mattress in effort to help Jer's back issues. I also came to the conclusion that you know your getting older when you get excited about a new mattress :)
Hopefully September will be slower...............

The Grand Canyon

On our way home we stopped by the Grand Canyon. It was the biggest place I have ever seen. It was magnificent! It went on and on and on!!

Vega$ Baby!!

After a 23 hour drive, we finally made it to Vegas! On the way to Las Vegas, we stopped in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the night. Las Vegas was beautiful, as always, and very very hot! We spent most of our time walking around and looking. The city changes so much year to year. The first night we toured the Bellagio, which is my favorite hotel in Las Vegas. We checked out the conservatory inside the Bellagio and it was so amazing. Jeremy really liked Caesar's Palace :) All in all we had a great time!

Hoover Dam

My husband and I took a last minute road trip to Las Vegas with some friends! We had a great time and we got to see some amazing things! We got to drive over Hoover Dam!! It was beautiful and very hot. Here you see my husband LAYING on the wall over Hoover Dam.... I nearly had a heart attack.

Pizza Heaven

Today I went to eat with my gal pals at the Mellow Mushroom pizza place. For those of you who have not had the Mellow Mushroom pizza experience, it’s quite delicious. The pizza was completely handmade right before it was baked! I took the rest of the pizza to Jeremy at work and it is official; he has lived! If there was a pizza place in Wonderland, this is where Alice would eat!
