1 week 4 days.....

Or less until Levi makes his debut.  We're excited and nervous at the same time.  I think I'm most worried about how Cole will deal with the new addition.  Also, how he deals with staying with MiMi and MawMaw while we're in the hospital.....

He still isn't sleeping through the night, and I'm pretty sure we made an EPIC mistake of letting him sleep with us during the while post-surgery thing.  Now when he wakes up, he wants to sleep with us the rest of the night.  Not cool.  I can see how parents get roped into things, though.  We felt so bad for him when he had a catheter, but now it's just a habbit.  So, any suggestions are accepted.  Especially if they don't involve letting him scream bloody murder.  He's also become extremely aware of his surroundings and the smallest things scare him.  To death.  Even a friend roaring like a lion.  He burst into tears.  And the vacuuum - I have to vacuum and hold his hand at the same time.  And shadows.  I think we're getting past the shadows.  He at least says "hi" to them now and waves.  But a loud truck or motorcycle outside can evoke full on hysterics.  Poor little guy.  I still blame alot of it on surgery.  He was just so much more aware this last time, and he hasn't really been the same since. 

But, he's also the biggest ham EVER.  Can't wait to see what his little brother will be like!!

It's a Wrap....

2012, huh.  Can't believe it.  2011 seems like it was just yesterday.  One year ago today Cole had the first of his surgies.  Little did we know that he'd have 2 more before the year was over.  SO much happened in 2011: We listed out house, I learned how to keep it clean ALL THE TIME, We sold our house, Bought a new one, Moved into my parent's house for 2 weeks, Moved into our house in the middle of the summer with no frig, no furniture, no tv or internet, no floors and lived this was for almost 3 weeks, We lost our sweet little Rockstar and ended up with a dog 6 times bigger than Rocky was, Cole learned to crawl, walk and run, In the midst of all the moving/losing Rocky chaos, we found out we were pregnant - huge shock considereing all we went through to get pregnant with Cole, I was put on "as much bed rest as possible" until the first trimester was over - something not easy when you're life's upside down and in boxes, Ryan changed jobs, I gained 16 pounds - pregnant, though, so that doesn't count, right?, We bought office furniture after looking at it for 7.5 years, We bought a SUV.  Pretty sure the list could go on and on....

For 2012, I'd like to get our house in order (finally), and I've set a goal of running another half - something that I'd wanted to do before I got pregnant again.  Cole will start school this year - holy moly.  I'll be a mom of 2 soon.  Another holy moly!  Bring it on 2012!
