So Cher LOVES the movie little rascals. I often times hear her repeating numerous parts of the movie and i thought i should get some of them on tape so here is the fist one. This is when Spanky is dressed up in the girls ballet outfit and he is trying to get away from the "mean" boys.
We obviously are trapped indoors to much this time of year.

Your Next American Idol
Towards the end of my pregnancy i had no energy and i was huge. So lets just say while i was laying on the couch at times Cher would perform songs for me and i would video tape her. I just wouldn't feel right if no one else got to see her mad performing skills. So here you go, Cher's Version of Do-Re-Mi
Yep,I know She's AWESOME

Catch up on October 2010
Here is my attempt to catch up on some months that i have missed. The boys are now 6 weeks old. Why does time go by some much quicker when your not prego? 6 weeks of pregnancy, well i wont say what that is. Jett is now 8lb 11oz and Cole is up to 6lb and 5oz he's catching up. Cole no longer has to have is 4 bottles a day of a high calorie feeding so we are happy about that, he is also reminding me of what a newborn looks like. He is getting out of that preemie look now. Jett is doing well too. We had a great Halloween. Cher dressed up as snow white and as usual looked great. I Didn't get to the boys costumes this year but thanks to JeJe and Aunt Mikelle they were looking fabulous in a Halloween shirt and pants. We went to trunk or treat at the church and then over to Gina's house for soup and salad. Then all the cousins were off for the sweets. Nash(Cher's cousin) insisted on being Cinderella for Halloween Paige tried to convince him to be something else but wanted nothing to do with it so she said "what the heck, let him be what he wants" He was the best looking Cinderella in town. It was awesome! Cher is still doing great with the boys. A few days ago Cole was crying lots and i was doing something with Jett and Cher held him and got him to sleep in her arms, it was great. Chris and Cher were able to get out a few times before it got to cold and went on the RZR. They had a great time together. The month of October was great, a little blurry at times with the lack of sleep I'm getting, but a fun way to get in the holiday mood.

No longer a family of 3
I am finally getting around to doing a little blogging since the boys have been here. I thought I would at least write down their birth story so I can remember it, since things are a little crazy at times. So here it goes.
I was planning on getting induced on 10-10-10 which was a Sunday. Beez and Kari Ann and Darcey and Tara were going down to Moab. Chris was really wanting to go to get some pic of all the RZR for his website utvma.com. He said he would take Cher with him (how could I pass that up) I said yes since I thought for sure I wouldn’t go into labor myself. They were going down Thursday morning and coming home on Friday night (yes I know I was getting induced two days after that) I was going to have to have a Non-stress Test done on Friday and thought I would go in the afternoon when Chris was headed home just in case I had dilated more and they would keep me. Well Thursday came and my sister decided to stay the night with me just in case something happened. I assured her nothing was going to but she said she was staying. That morning I woke up and was a little campy but nothing different from the rest of the week. I talked to Chris and let him know the plan with the NST. Well about an hour later I was starting to feel a little crampier and I and my sister thought it might be good to go in earlier to do my test to make sure everything was okay. I hopped in the shower, while my sister was packing my bag for the hospital. By the time I got out of the shower I was having contractions about 5 min apart from each other. We got in the car and my sister started to drive me to the hospital. I was still debating if I should tell Chris to start coming home or if I should wait until I got to the hospital to find out what was going to happen. I decided to tell Chris that he needed to start packing up and head home. I got to the hospital around 9:30 they put me on the machine to start monitoring me. My contractions were about 3 min apart by this time and I was dilated to a 4. After 30 min of being on the machine and having horrible contractions I asked for the nurse so I could find out what the plan was. I wanted to get my epidural so if they were still going to monitor me for a little while I needed to mentally prepare for it. We pretty much knew I was staying we were just waiting for Dr. Young to call and give the okay. Finally I got the okay and changed rooms to get my epidural (heaven sent!) I went from a 4-7 ½ in about an hour with no epidural so I was so ready for it. Did I tell you Chris is still driving home at this time my sister was calling Chris every 30 min to find out where he was. All the nurses couldn’t believe I let him go to Moab with me being full term with twins. Dr. Young came in and broke my water at about 11:30. Chris made it to the hospital 5-10 min before they took me into the O.R. They delivered me in there just in case they needed to do an emergency C-section. Thank goodness I didn’t need one. Chris was at the hospital a total of 45 min, so let’s just say he barely made it. When I asked how fast he was driving to get to the hospital he would tell me all he said was fast (thank goodness nothing happened to him.) Baby B (Cole) was having some difficulties so they wanted to get them out as fast as they could. Jett was born first at 1:15pm and weighed in at 7lb 2 oz. Yes huge for a twin. Next 3 min later Cole made is grand entrance and weighed in at a whopping 4lb 7oz. Yes almost a 3lb difference. Now twins are usually a little bit off on their weights but there shouldn’t be this big of a weight difference. Dr. Young was just as surprised as us. He went back and looked over my chart and the only thing we think that could have happened was at my last growth ultrasound on the boys somehow Jett must have got measured twice. If we would have known that their weight was this much off from each other Dr. Young would have taken me a week and a half to two weeks earlier, we were really lucky that not anything serious was wrong with Cole. He did have a really high red blood cell count and ended up having to be transferred down the UVRMC to the NICU for a week. They had to take out 1 ounce of blood through his umbilical cord and replace it with some saline to thin his blood out. Both of the also had low blood sugar so we had a few rough days in the hospital trying to get them to eat. Once we got their blood sugar up, they had energy to eat and started to improve. The first week after I was released was very long, and a little stressful. With Jett being at home and Cole still in the NICU it was a lot of going back and forth from the hospital. The NICU is a very interesting place and it’s hard to explain my feelings on it, but if you have ever had a baby in there you know how I felt. Let’s just say, I’m so grateful for it and how well they took care of my baby for me but it can be a frustrating place to (things are really, really slow.) It was difficult for me at times. Lots of hormones going through me, granted I just gave birth to 2 babies, and was having to be up and ready to go, feed, pump and all times. I felt like at times I was giving all my attention to jett since he was the one I had at home with me and I felt a little helpless with Cole. He needed to save all his energy to eat so even just holding him would make him tired so I would just let him lay in his bed. I felt like Cole and Jett weren’t going to bond since they had been apart from each other since birth. It was just a really long and stressful week. We were thrilled to be able to bring Cole home after a week of being in there and try to start getting on a schedule at home with both boys. I couldn’t believe how Cole just thrived being at home with his brother, I know that they missed each other lots. Things have been crazy, wild, surreal, wonderful, and amazing all at once since then. I still to this day can’t believe I carried 2 babies, let alone have them at home with me now. They all ready have their own personalities. Cole is the calm and cool baby, while Jett is the more alert, active & fussy one. Cole likes to be swaddled and Jett doesn’t. They both like to be held and obviously love there mama since I have the “goods.” Cher has been an absolute doll and a HUGE helper with her brothers. She helps me burp them, rock them, put binkies in, sings songs to them. I couldn’t ask for a better girl. I love her to pieces and am so grateful for her. Chris is hanging in there, I think he has had the hardest time adjusting maybe just because he has to change a few more diapers then he would have with just one but he is adjusting better and better each day. It really has been fun to see us all work as a team and go from a family of 3 to a family of 5.

About an hour after birth, you can see how cole's skin color was pretty red(thats from the high red blood cells)You can also see how Jett stole all the food.

Cher holding Jett, Cole never made it out of the nursery, he was hooked up to an IV and then got transferd the next morning to UVRMC

The people that trasfred cole to the NICU gave us that bear so we would have something to hold while he was gone, jett seems sad in this pic, he was missing his brother and that bear ended up costing us about $4000.00.

Life is like a box of chocolates....

You never know what your going to get????
Yes i prego with twins(this pic is my first one, so they do now look like little babies), little overwhelmed but couldn't be more excited to add a couple of kiddos to the mix. I'm 12 weeks, looking and feeling like I'm 20 weeks(no joke!) I think this counts as my excuse for my leave of absence from the blogging world and to make things crazier, we are moving in a week. We had planned on waiting to move into our other house in Jan a few months after the babies were born, but decided it is probably better to move now, while I'm not as big as a whale and while i can still do things. Its bitter sweet, sad to be moving and leaving people behind, but thrilled that i will have TONS more space!!! So more than ever who knows when my next post will be? Don't be sad, maybe it will be soon.
