Daisies go to Disney on Ice
Morgan and I were able to attend Disney on Ice last week. John and I thought it would be good for Morgan to go to this because Jacob has been to the Monster Truck Shows twice. We went with some of her Daisy troop and had a BLAST! We both agreed our favorite part was when they lit the ice on FIRE!!!! We also liked the dragon that came out!
New Computer
For those who don't know...I got a new computer for my birthday and have been busy setting it up. That should explain the lack of blogs lately. I will try to catch up. Family update: Only 2 weeks and 3 days until little Joseph comes! So excited! I feel extremely blessed to be able to have another child in my home.
Jacob just recently celebrated his 9th birthday! These are pictures of him opening his presents. He wanted a Star Wars Lego set and that is exactly what we were able to get him thanks to ebay! Morgan used her jewelry box to "wrap" her lego present for Jacob. He was in heaven:P! The hardest part was going to school right after he opened his presents. He couldn't wait to build them when he got home!

Books to Boondocks
This summer, Jacob and Morgan had a challenge given to them. In order to go anywhere "especially" fun, they had to earn it by reading. Earlier this month, they finally both reached their goal and chose Boondocks for a Family Home Evening. There was race car driving, miniature golf (which we were lucky not to get struck by lightening), pizza, arcade games, and let us not forget the water bummer boat/attack on mom! Here are some fun memories! Enjoy!

Red Ribbon Week, Black Hawk Down!

I am not sure this is a Black Hawk but for Red Ribbon Week the school had this helicopter land in the field. The pilot then came out and talked all about making good choices, having a "wingman" or friend to talk to, and saying no to drugs. I know the kids thought this was awesome! Someone has high connects at the school. I have to admit, I am impressed!
