Happy 50th!

 Brad's 50th birthday was yesterday.  He didn't want any big celebrations, so he got Indian food for dinner, I made him his requested dessert, and then he went out for a drink with some friends.  

IU vs. Michigan Game

 To celebrate Brad's 50th birthday and Brady's 18th, the two of them and a few friends went to the IU vs. Michigan game today at the Big House.  I haven't talked to them yet, but Brad sent pictures throughout the day, and it looks like they had an amazing time!  Fox Big Noon Kickoff was there and Brady was on TV when they panned the crowd at the beginning of the show!  It wasn't a pretty game for IU, but they were able to pull of a 13-6 victory in OT!

18!

 Brady turned 18 yesterday!  I can't believe it!  I'm not sure how we got here so fast, and I realized this is probably the last birthday we'll wake up in the same place, and that makes me sad.  Even though there are times I wish I could go back to when he was little, I have loved watching him grow up into the awesome person he is!  Here's to 18 and all the fun and special moments the year will bring!

Brady's girlfriend, Emilia, made him brownies and gave them to him at school.  He and his friends ate some before they made it home. :)

For our final fall break vacation we headed to Iceland.  We had an amazing time and the scenery was so beautiful!  Glaciers, tons of waterfalls, mountains, and rainbows!

Friday Night Lights

On Friday night Brad and I made last minute plans with our friends Ally and Mike and headed to Bloomington for  the IU football game.  It was a beautiful night for football!

Soccer Senior Night

Brady retired from soccer when he got to high school, but a few of his friends play and we went to support them on senior night.  Brad and I thought it would be fun to make fat heads of all of the seniors, and the senior players and cheer block had a lot of fun with them!

Senior Homecoming

 This weekend was Brady's last Homecoming weekend at Roncalli.  He and his friends had a fun time at the football game and dance!
