Daffodil Parade
The Lakers
Drew played in the Puyallup Rec league this winter. He loved every minute of it. We are so proud of him and can't wait to watch many more games!
Snow Day

We had a week in January where school was cancelled for 4 days! The snow on the first day was so powdery and beautiful. The boys had a great time sledding and playing in it. That night it turned into a layer of ice, rained ice, and the temp dropped. The following days were not so fun. We experienced about 37 hours without power and the scare of limbs snapping and breaking all around us because of the extreme ice on the limbs. The one good thing the storm brought was quality family time. We enjoyed our time playing cards, playing games, and being all cuddled together on the couch in front of the fire. Las Vegas 2012

Tyce and I had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas for 4 days and 3 nights through his work. We stayed at the Paris hotel. We had such a great time sight seeing, gambling, eating, and getting to hang out with friends that we met on the same trip last year to San Francisco. It was a wonderful get away to reconnect during our busy life of work, and raising the kids. We were very excited to get home and see our boys, but not excited to come home to our winter storm and the power outages.Cabin 2011
Played in the snow.....
We did a lot of this.......
Made donuts at 10:00 one night.
Worked on 2 puzzles...We went to the mountains to stay in a house for 5 days after Christmas. The whole Nasinec family went. This is our second year doing this and it is a great time to eat, relax, hot tub, eat, play in the snow, cook, eat, put together puzzles, eat, watch movies, eat, sleep, and eat. The boys love it and they are still talking about the hot tub. They thought it was great that they could be in the hot tub in the snow.

The grand kids getting ready to open presents.Tyce and I had to wake the boys up at 8:30 on Christmas morning. We were up well before that and I guess all of the noise we were making wasn't waking them up so upstairs we went! It was so much fun this year to watch them discover their Santa presents. They are truly so in awe of Santa and so extremely thankful for the gifts that he brings. We then opened our family gifts in a hurry because we had to be at Papa and Grammy's by 10:30 for brunch. We met the whole Nasinec family for brunch and exchanged gifts. Drew was so excited to get his electric scooter from his Grandparents and Will got Skylander which he so badly wanted. After brunch we went to my brother Mike's house to have Christmas dinner with my family. This part of the day is always so crazy because my family is so big and there are so many excited kids running around, but we love it. It feels like home to me. Tyce and I were very thankful this Christmas season to have the gifts of Jesus, health, family, friends, work, and each other.
Christmas Eve
We brought a bottle of wine that we bought in Rome, Italy in 2003 to be corked. It was fun to share it with everyone at dinner. We weren't sure how it would taste, but it was really good!
Us with our boys!
Will took this picture of the whole table. Not bad buddy! We went to Daniel's Broiler for dinner on Christmas Eve. This is a Nasinec tradition and our family goes every other year. This year we left our house at 3:30, went to church, and then met at the restaurant at 6:00. It is always so much fun and the food is amazing! This year we dined with Tyce's parents, his Aunt Cher and Uncle Mike, Chris and Steve's best friends Kathy, Gary, and Maureen, Kathy's mom Ruth, and Renee and Curtis. Drew and Will were the only kids and they did great! We have the whole upstairs room to ourselves so they get to walk around and take pictures, color, play their DS games and of course eat. Drew loves oysters on the half shell! Will preferred his noodles with butter. :-) Daddy had the Porterhouse and Mommy had the Lobster.
