While I was gone all weekend a few weekends ago...Paul took the girls to 2 birthday parties one Saturday.  The first was for Ava - a "Team Spirit" party.  Lots of fun for both girls!

Notice Paul even got a red bow in Abby's hair!  Way to go....

I had a fun weekend away with my Midland friends and was so proud of Paul for getting out all day on Saturday.  The second birthday for Will was a jumping party.  The kids were running so fast, all the pics turned out blurry.  But a good time was had by all...

Nothing much to report. 

My NYC trip with my lifelong friend Courtney last weekend was cancelled.  I woke up at 5 am, to leave the house by 6 am, got to the airport and found out the flight was cancelled.  Courtney's flight was cancelled as well, so it wasn't all riding on me!  We were so disappointed at first, we had really been looking forward to this since Christmas.  Luckily, we were able to easily able to exchange flights, show tickets, and hotel rooms and the trip is now re-booked for the end of March.  Hopefully we will have nicer weather in NYC in a month! 

As for the girls, March is a busy month of birthday parties, Spring Break, my rescheduled trip, and gearing up for Easter!

Small little girl, but boy she is just nearly running around everywhere now!  Now that she is running around, Kate thinks she can play "ring around the rosies" with her.  It has brought on a whole new excitement for Kate.

Birthday Blowout!

The girls joint birthday extravagaanza was this past weekend.  We had such a great time with family and friends!  The weather was cold, but a bouncehouse diverted some attention outside.  I had a little sweet factory set up for the kids, and we were sure to load them all up with as much sugar as possible!  We are SO blessed with such wonderful family and friends.  We love you all!

Today is Abby's birthday and it is snowing like crazy outside!  Pics to be posted later!  Happy Birthday sweet girl!!!!

Kate had her 3 year appointment this morning.  She was not a happy camper when it came to shots.  In fact, she was just not a happy camper this morning AT ALL. 

Her stats - 28 pounds (25th percentile in weight)

35 1/2 inches long (10th percentile in height)

This girl will hardly let me dress her anymore!  She puts her foot down when it comes to clothes and jewelry... doesn't this picture just ooze "sass"????  The doctor assured me it was normal for Kate to try to be so independent.  It is a control thing.  She said to pick my battles.

Abby had a visit to the doctor this week - she had croup over the weekend so was put on a steroid and is doing much better.  She is walking more and more, and the 3rd and 4th top teeth have to be coming in soon.
