Three Rivers

My Friend Molly and I took our kids to Three Rivers over spring break. The kids hiked around a bit and then we stopped for lunch. They loved being outside. By the time we headed back to the car they all needed walking sticks to help them. We were so excited to wear them out so they would take LONG naps. Well, none of my kids napped when I got home. They did have a great time and Lindsay still talks about it. Thanks Molly for inviting us. Oh yeah, to top it all off, we went into town for ice cream!!!

Easter

On Sunday night Dave and I were able to see the production "Savior of the World" that our stake and surrounding stakes put on for Easter weekend. This production was originally done in Salt Lake for the dedication of the Conference Center. We were very impressed with it. The spirit was so strong. We have a lot of talented people around. We took this opportunity to invite non-members to this production in hopes of it touching their lives. The cast members spent numerous hours making this perfect. Thanks to all of the families that sacrificed "family time" so this could happen. It was a great way to start off this Easter weekend. It helped me focus on the spiritual side of easter and not get so busy and caught up in the Easter Bunny. (The Easter Bunny did come to our house though and the girls loved it). Hope everyone had a great Easter.

Broccoli Lovers

We finally did it!!! We got our girls to eat broccoli. You know, it was easier than I thought it would be. They key is not to let them eat very much the whole day and by dinner time ANYTHING sounds good to them. We told the girls that if they didn't brush their teeth then they would turn green like Samantha's. I am BIG on brushing teeth so hopefully that gave them a little scare.

Rock Band and Golf

The weather has been so nice here that we wanted to spend some time outside with the kids so we took them to Adventure Park. The kids loved miniature golf!!!! They had so much fun running from hole to hole that it only took us 30 minutes to do the whole course.

This is Lindsay with her pink ball and matching pink "sparkly" shoes. Thanks Aunt Jamie for the shoes. She wears them everywhere. Samantha's ball was purple. Just to add a comment about her shoes, they are Lindsay's and they kept falling off but she insisted on wearing them.
Davis had a fun time trying to get the balls out of the hole.
Here are the girls posing at the golf course in front of a "Visalia" water tank. (Just in case we forget where we live or should I say "lived" because we never know where we are going next.)

We had a fun Friday night with all of our friends. We went out to dinner (with no kids) and then went to the Howard's house to play Rock Band. If you haven't ever played you need to. It is a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it. Here is a picture of Dave and Geoff "rockin'" out on the drums and guitar.
Dave turned 33 on Saturday. He still thinks he is 27 until he tries to get out of bed and realizes he has too many aches and pains to be 27 and then reality hits. Hey Dave, don't worry!!! I am getting older too, just not as fast as you!!!!

Check out my Slide Show!

Even though I have a lot of crazy days, I love my kids!!! They make me laugh at all of the things they do and don't do. I am sure I will laugh even harder when I look back at all of the crazy days.

Lindsay is such a sweet little girl. She is into saying everything is "so beautiful". I love it.

Samantha marches to the beat of her own drum. Her favorite saying is "you're driving me crazy". I wonder where she gets that from??? ...maybe her dad???

Davis keeps me busy as you can see in the pictures. I have never had to baby proof my house, but it looks like I better get going.
