March #1

The kids are starting to play so nicely together, which is wonderful as a parent to watch, and it's REALLY nice that they can entertain themselves more now too!

Pretending to nap. :)

Playing on the table

Silliness. They both thought they were soooooo funny! :)

We took a trip to the Toy Train Expo, and boy was that a hit! There were trains as far as the eye could see, and this little boy was in heaven!
Posing by his beloved "ding-dings".

Riley is really into Play Doh lately

Dancing. :) She always puts her arms up when she dances. It is one of my favorite things!

Watching a train go by

We went down to the Springs this last weekend for my Dad's 60th birthday! Carrie threw him a suprise party (he was totally suprised), and we got to hang out with Nana, Duke, and Aunt Kaylee. It was a great weekend!

Time for a party hat!

Looking adorable!

SUPRISE!

My cousin, Marshall, was at the party, and he and Riley had a lot of fun together. :)

Tea time!

Cute Byron!

Standing on a stool, playing the piano. <3

Happy birthday, Duke! We love you!

"I am super cute!"

Future cheerleader???

Riley passed out after a fun time at the wave pool with Nana, Duke, Daddy, and the girls. (Monitor picture)

Hailey resting with Duke. She fought that nap time HARD!

This cute little dog kept visiting us through a hole in the fence. We were happy to play with him, and he loved the attention from the kids. He was the sweetest and least annoying Yorkie I have ever met! He never barked at all!

Cool chick

Heading home after a fun weekend...

She would put her paci in her snack cup and yell, "Uh oh!!! Ma ma!"

Love this little cutie! <3

Eating Elmo. (I love this little cutie too!)

As I close this post, I will leave you with a Riley self-portrait. :)

February in two parts: Part 2

I got a very last minute text from a friend of mine saying that his band was playing one last suprise concert before they headed out on their international tour. Yes, you read that right! I am so excited for them! Anyway, I haven't been able to go to ANY of their shows since the kids were born, and this one happened to be taking place in Fort Collins, so after my wonderful husband told me that I never go out late and insisted that I go, I called my friend, Veronica, who was up for the last minute late night with me, and we went to the show. It was a blast, and I am so glad that I finally got to see them!
The Tyler Ward Band

Veronica and I had a lot of fun and laughs. :)

Josh, also from my high school, Joel, the texter, and me.

We turned Hailey forward in her car seat. The first ride was so funny. I think her eyes were open wide the whole time. :)

Cute, silly Riley. <3

Riley wanted to have a 'cookie picnic' on the couch with Hailey one day after nap.

Fun with the laundry basket

Our friend, Sergio, was moving from Fort Collins to Boston and Matt wanted to have a special good-bye dinner for him, so he went out and bought a baby pig......yes, he did.
Sergio prepares the pig...

Cutting it up on our back porch...

This is the half we cooked....the rest is in my freezer.

Looking yummy!

'What is that in there?!'

Don't be a pig, Matt! ;)

Riley does not want his buddy to move!

Diaper head cutie :)

My sis and I went to Ladies Night at The Melting Pot! Yummy! (P.S. We don't normally wear those bright lipstick shades. We got ambushed by Mary Kay ladies in the lobby.)

We are so mature

His favorite past time: watching train videos on Matt's iPhone or our iPad!

Riley loves giving Hailey rides on Thomas All aboard!

I cannot keep this girl off of the chairs!!

We will end with this:

"I love fishy crackers!" :)
