Kayden's Engineering Class!

Kayden had a fun week at engineering camp!  He built catapults, did an egg drop, and built a structure out of lasagna noodles, spaghetti noodles, and gummy bears that with stood a 9.0 earthquake.  This is his final challenge of squashing a grape using 8 different mechanisms.  They drove a remote control car to hit a marble into a cup that lowered and lifted another cup that dropped a marble down a marble run that knocked over dominos, and books, and released a rock that swung and hit a meat tenderizer and smashed the grapes.  Pretty creative!

Our Baby #4!

Here is Our Stark Baby #4!! Nope I still don't want to know the gender! HA! :) The baby is healthy, happy and DARLING! Every time we take a peek at baby he or she always waves at us and the boys LOVE it! Too cute!

We did have a little bit of scare because when we first started our ultrasound the doctor found that I had placenta previa, which was very concerning because we want to do a home birth and with this being the case we would have to schedule a c-section. She said they would check again in 4 to 6 weeks to see if it had moved but chances were slim that this would happen. Then a little miracle happened, right before we finished our ultrasound she just happen to recheck and the placenta had moved almost 3 whole centimeters away from my cervix! She was amazed and we were all so grateful!!

Crazy Times!

To start off sorry that it has been forever. For those who don't know we got mold in the house we were renting and after Kayden not being able to breathe and finding he was allergic to the mold we left. We are living with Richard's parents at the moment and have been blessed to be let out of our contract to find somewhere else to rent which we are trying to do at the moment. We are all healthy and happy now thank goodness!
Here is nut nut Ryan doing a puzzle and Kayden and Ryan swinging home made sling shots! We had a lesson on David and Goliath and we made homemade sling shots to try out! Pretty fun!
Here is cute KC taste testing our oatmeal bites and nut nut kayden!
Below is Richard holding KC who fell fast asleep while eating in Richards arms! Too funny (I caught Richard off guard with the camera)! Above is Ryan milling our wheat into flour!

This is us with aunt Kauki at the Carl Bloch exhibit. We have been studying art and it was very interesting for me and the boys to compare the other art work we have seen done at the same time as this art work and compare it. We all like James Tissots work better but the exhibit was amazing just the same and Carl Bloch is an amazing artist!

Kayden was dieing for some 'real' chemistry test tubes and he found a vase at grandmas house and was determined that it was a real chemistry test tube and he had to have it. Well, mom got an idea and took the boys to DI where they proceeded to fill my cart with test tubes! Mom said only 4 per child and they unhappily narrowed it down. Here are the boys mixing things to create gases! They loved to watch it fizz and made it over flow many times, little stinkers, but it was fun!

The Zoo!

We went to the zoo with our friends Meagan, Tommy, and Mary a little while ago! It was a lot of fun!

Science, Science, and more Science!

A visit from Santa!

It is nice to know the insides of our turkey did not go to waste! Papa dissecting the heart of our turkey and teaching the boys about the chambers of the heart!

We went to the Olympic oval to watch the speed skaters compete for the Olympics! It was amazing how fast they skate!

We learned all about Africa and made our own Africa with animals, items produced there, etc.
Ryan getting himself dressed, for some reason he doesn't seem to care yet about whether his clothes are on inside out or backwards. Richard and I get a good laugh out of it though! The funniest is when we are sitting in church and we look over an notice his pants are on backwards and we have the hardest time staying quiet because we are laughing so hard!

Puzzle time!
Super Boys! They found these pieces of box and wanted wings so mom got creative and used duct tape!

Here my scientists are preparing the gel to put in petri dishes to grow mold. We tested there fingers, teeth, and a toy to see which had more mold and it was nasty (according to mom). Here are Kayden and Ryan matching up chromosomes to find out if they have the chromosomes of a girl or a boy! It was a really fun way to talk about our baby and learn at the same time!
My cute boys watching TV!
My cute boy! He loves to sit on his big brother's bike and pretend to ride! He was also running with his brothers, tripped and fell and broke the skin on his eyebrow open and had to have four stitches. It seems like every boy in our house has to get stitches before he grows up.

Kayden The Science Guy-Ryan Rules!

Turkey bones left over from Thanksgiving! Their charts are behind them! They had to find and identify each bone!
We made crystal stars to hang as ornaments on our tree!
The boys painted the phases of the moon in glow in the dark paint and then we were magic! We took water that we dissolved salt in and sponged the water on our paper with star stencils and as the water evaporated, ta da, crystal stars appeared!!

Cute Nut Nut Boys!

The boys got into the trash bags and had a blast!

It got to the point where they were so tangled that one would run and it would pull the other across the floor!

All my cute boys!
KC is so cute he will bring me clothing and want it on and he doesn't care if you just set it around his arm or strap it around his head as long as it is on his body he loves it, so here is our KC man showing off a pair of handsome pants on his head!
Kayden and Ryan...Oh I'm sorry, Troy and Chad...We were watching high school musical and it got to the boys are back song and they got their head dresses on and danced and sang to the song! It was so cute!
