Sam

Our little joy boy! Sam is the best thing to happen to the Tingey Tribe. He makes us laugh and is the highlight of our lives. He has a ton of nicknames: King Samon, Samurai, Sammich, Sam Sam our sweet little man, Sambo, and Sam I Am just to name a few.

Mark

Mark has experienced a lot of exciting things this year. He fell out of a shopping cart and got a concussion which landed him in the hospital :( He won first place in his first wrestling tournament. He was qualified to sing "All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth." He's a straight A student and his little brother Sam loves him.

Erika

Erika is finally 10 years old and having so much fun. She has definitely discovered that boys can be cute and that music is cool. For Christmas this year she got an iPod and a digital camera. It's not possible to own too many stuffed animals according to Erika.

Matt

Matt is a busy 15 year old. As with most teen-age boys he is involved in so many activities. He loves to ski, wrestle, and ride his unicycle. He is counting the days until he can drive (gulp!). he's an excellent student and gets good grades. He's got a lot of friends (especially girls). His favorite gift this Christmas was a cell phone. Yay! When people say, "Oh, you've got a 15 year old boy..." with a hint of pitty, I say, "Oh no! He's the easy one!"

California

Mom, Dad and Sam took a quick trip to Newport Beach right before Christmas. It was fun to see the sun and relax during this busy time of year. Here's Sam playing his first game of pool.

Sam took his first Carousel ride while in Newport. He thought he was in Heaven! So many lights and animals that moved up and down and music too! He was so adorable and happy and loved every minute of it. Mommy cried because it was one of those moments when I felt so much joy to have this sweet little boy and be able to experience all the "first's" that life will bring him! I've waited a LONG time to be able to do things like that with my baby! Truly one of the most blessed memories of the season!

One of the most special parts of the trip was the day we went to San Diego to meet Great Grandpa Mass for the first time. Grandpa will be (a young) 87 years old this year and he is in such good health. He's such a wonderful man and we were so happy that he got to meet Sam for the first time. It was a heartwarming introduction.
