Reese

Reese has been such a good baby and she is such a sweetheart.  The first few months were hard and she was pretty fussy, but now she is a great baby.  She absolutely loves sitting in her bumbo and watching all that is going on around her.

One night I was cutting Ted's hair and I looked over and she had fallen
asleep to the sound of the clippers.

Reese watching her first movie with kids.

Morgan absolutely adores Reese and loves to take care of her and
play with her during the day.  She even got this pillow for Reese to lay on.

Are we seeing a pattern here?  She will fall asleep almost anywhere.
None of my other kids did that.

Morgan always wants to be with Reese and loves to
talk to her and read to her.

Cooper loves to share his blanket with Reese and apparently
she finds it very calming.  This was us getting ready
for church.

Reese eating her first oatmeal cereal.

Morgan wanted to help and made quite the mess.

All the girls.  I can't believe how much more hair Reese
had back then.  She has lost it all.

October

October was a really busy month and we had a lot of fun things going on.  I had to include Reese in these photos.  This is her at 3 1/2 months old.

Cooper kept asking for a friend party, so we had his buddies, Ben, Luke, and Watson
over to watch a movie, make pizzas, and play Minecraft.

Ted had a free nights stay with Marriott that was expiring, so we took the
family to Salt Lake and went to the Clarke Planetarium and hung out in the hotel.

The hotel had two bedrooms and a front room and the girls absolutely loved that.

The next day we went to my nephew Mason's birthday party.  This is my
Grandma holding Reese.

My Dad and Laurie with the girls.

My Mom and Boyd with Reese.

The kids made these humungous cookies at the party.

We had a friend Halloween party and everyone had to come
dressed up.

Ted's family came over for dinner and to make the traditional Lucas
witches hats.  Can we say pure sugar?

Jake and Skyler chowing down on the witches hats.

Getting ready to carve some pumpkins.

Cooper cleaning out his pumpkin.

Everyone loved cutting out their pumpkins this year.

Morgan and her neighbor friends.

Miss Lesli is a wonderful teacher and Morgan loves school so much.

Kendall's Halloween party was at the same time as Morgan's program, so I
came after just to say hi.

My cute kids on Halloween night.

Ted and I dressed up as the milk man and a pregnant housewife.

friend's house before trick or  treating.

Morgie

I was making dinner and Morgan was in the bathroom playing with the toilet paper.  Here's how the conversation went:

Me:  Don't play with that please.
Morgan:  You can see me?  (She was behind the door and I could see her through the crack)
Me:  Yes.  I have eyes everywhere.  Didn't you know?
As I'm walking away, Morgan whispers, "Wow!!!  She has eyes everywhere.  That is soooo cool!!!"

Made me laugh.  She has such a big imagination and it is so fun sometimes. :)

Fall Time

We had quite good year with the pumpkins and the kids were so excited to help pick them.  Our biggest one was about 100 pounds I think??  I feel like that was such a long time ago and so much has happened since then, so I don't remember for sure.

I got to go with Morgan on her preschool field trip to Black Island Farms and she
was so excited that it was just the two of us.

Morgie and her neighbor friends.  Good thing she doesn't mind playing with boys. :)
