Dune Trip!

My family had never been to the sand dunes outside of Yuma so we decided to take them before my brother goes back to school in January. We (Me, Tono, Bryton, Callie, Uncle Colton, Uncle Cameron & Grandpa and Grandma Smith) drove down this last Friday and spent the night so we could get up Saturday and have some fun! It was definitely fun! We had beautiful weather. A few sprinkles but mostly warm air and a little sun. It was great.
Coming back to the trailer from their first ride!

Bryton is so little you can't see him

This rainbow was so pretty. It was so big we didn't get a picture of the whole thing.
This is Tono's brother Colton. Pictures don't do justice to how high he was jumping. He was our entertainment when we stopped to take a break!

A Great 24th!

On the 5th we celebrated my 24th birthday. It was a good day. We went to an Italian restaurant for dinner with my family and then came back to our house for cake and some Wii Olympics. It was a great day!

My mom captured this lovely picture. I thought it was funny because I look like I just had my wisdom teeth pulled or something cause my cheeks are full of air. Bryton was a big help blowing all of the candles out. That is his favorite part of mom or dad's birthday cause he gets to help!

Waking Up Smiley!

Callie is so happy when she wakes up in the morning. Bryton and I usually sit on the bed and play with her for a little bit before we get ready in the mornings. A couple weeks ago I decided to try and capture how happy she was. I got a video but it is too long to download so pictures will have to do.

Bryton definitely loves his sister!

HE'S BAACK!

Well, my younger brother Cameron just returned this past Wednesday from serving a mission in Rome, Italy. We have really enjoyed having him home! We were able to get together with family and friends yesterday to hear him speak in church and then have dinner at my parents after church. Bryton is definitely excited to have him home as well. We have been with him everyday since he got back and Bryton just can't get enough! I will post some pictures as soon as I get them from my mom since my camera was unfortunately dead. A Funny story to end this post though is about when he got to the airport. For those who do not know my mom she is always on time and very well planned. She was planning to be to the airport about an hour before Cam's flight arrived so that she could be parked and inside waiting with plenty of time! Before they left she decided to check his flight to make sure it was not delayed. When she got on it said "Scheduled Arrival Time: 9:45 pm". Then next to that is said "Actual Arrival Time: 8:25 pm". Yes, that meant he would be landing an hour and twenty minutes early. Which just happened to be in about 5 minutes from when my mom looked at it. They are about 15 minutes from the airport and we are about 30. She called me and said they were on their way and that he was going to be there any minute. Needless to say, he was waiting at the curb with his bags when my parents arrived. We met them at their house because we were so far. My mom was bumbed but Cameron was ok because he knew he was super early. Anyway, it will be a good story to tell!

Daddy & Callie Sleeping!

A couple weeks ago Tono was holding Callie while I got Bryton ready for bed. I knew she was getting tired and apparently so was he. I thought it was pretty funny that they were both out and Callie's head had fallen back since he was no longer supporting it.

Halloween (A Little Late!)

HALLOWEEN NIGHT
We went trick or treating with my family again this year since they have the perfect neighborhood for it. My brother Darin and his kids also came with us.

SCHNEPF FARM
We went with Grandpa & Grandma Smith and Aunt Kenzi to Schepf Farm the week before Halloween. It was lots of fun. We went on a few rides, got kettle corn and homemade lemonade and picked out pumpkins.
This was so funny because we went on it when we first got there but Kenzi and I were pedaling Tono and Bryton. Tono was making fun of how hard we had to try to get over some of the little hills. We decided that it would be funny to see what he would say after he had tried it. Of course it would only be fair if my dad sat on the front so that the weight for Tono was about equal to what Kenzi and I had done! After we did it he realized it was more difficult than he thought. He complained about a headache later and said that he should have not tried so hard. Ha, ha!
Bryton trying to find the perfect pumpkin for Callie. I'm not sure why walking over all of them helps!
This is what Tono and Grandpa looked like while waiting for Kenzi and Bryton to go on a ride. Both on their phone's checking emails.

Desert Botanical Gardens

A couple days ago we went to the Desert Botanical Garden's with my sister in-law's and their baby's. They were having a pumpkin festival. Bryton played the little games they had and won some stickers, candy and toys. Then we went on a hay ride to get to the pumpkin patch. They also had a little petting zoo there. It was a little warm but not too bad. We had fun just getting out.

All of us on our way to the pumpkin patch on the hay ride. Bryton thought this part was cool because we were being pulled by a tractor!
I know you can't see Bryton's face but I thought this was a funny picture because the little girl behind him was chasing one of the chickens around. It was obviously trying to get away from her but in the mean time was running in to everyone's feet. Bryton was not quite sure what to do. Needless to say he did not stay in there very long!
Bryton and Callie
Bryton picked out the pumpkin's for himself and Callie. It was so cute because when he brought them to me he had this little tiny one and said "This is for Callie, mom. It is a little one and I have a medium one"!

So Pretty!

My mom and I took Callie last week to get her ear's pierced. My mom thought it was a little early but still wanted to be there to help since I was going to do it either way. I took her to one of the other dr.'s at her Pediatrician's office. They numbed her ears first and let it sit for an hour. That is why she has band-aids on her ear's. Then they pierced them. They are so cute! You will notice that we were only able to get a picture of one ear at a time because she likes to turn her head even if we put it straight.

Please Help Me!

So I need help deciding which pictures to do prints of. These are the 5 that I am trying to decide between. I also need your opinion on what you think will look the best. I am going to be putting it/them above our fireplace. It is a pretty decent size space that I need to fill. I can either do one big one, one big vertical with two small verticals one on either side or one big vertical with two small horizontals on one side one above the other. Please let me know what you think cause I can not decide. Let me know your favorite one or two. I already have one of Bryton and Callie to put up possibly next to the family one. Thanks for your help!

Two Months Old!

Callie is already 2 months old today! It seems like she has always been here but on the other hand it seems like time just flies by. I got a couple pictures of her this morning when Bryton was making her smile. She has been so happy and smiley these past couple weeks. I also got another video of her rolling over this morning and was able to get it off my memory card. Enjoy!

She is trying to see the computer in this one. She loves the bright screen. Especially when our screen saver comes on because it is a bunch of family pictures that rotate around the screen.

Handsome Big Boy!

Bryton has been growing up so fast! I might be prejudice but I think he is pretty handsome. We took family pictures a couple weeks ago and we got quite a few good ones of just Bryton. Here is one of my favorites.
I will be posting more family ones because I need help deciding which ones to put in my house. For now this is it because it is taking forever to download them and then it is saying error. Anyway, I will try again soon.

My First Trick!

Well, Callie decided to do a trick last week and roll from her tummy to her back. I was very surprised so I put her back on her tummy a couple nights ago to see if she would do it again. She did it THREE times! I got it on video twice. I wanted to post one but once again I am having problems getting pictures and video off my memory card. It is so wierd because it is totally random which ones show up and which ones don't. Of course it is always the ones I want to post that don't show up. I will try to get another one or get it off my card and then I will post it.

7 Weeks Old!

A couple weeks ago Callie was on my lap and in the best mood. Bryton was sitting by me making her smile. I pulled my camera out and Bryton wanted to take pictures of her too. We had fun trying to capture a smile.

Bryton took this one. I said it was a little close but he thought it was funny.
This is the day before. I thought I would take a picture because she is so cute when she is on her tummy looking around! I can tell she is finally being able to see really well because she pays a lot more attention to what is going on around her.

Conference Weekend

We went to Utah for General Conference weekend. It was a nice relaxing weekend. Callie was such a good girl and pretty much slept through all four sessions. This is a picture of her sleeping on the floor where she was most of the weekend. It is sure nice to get away just for a weekend. Especially when Tono is able to come!

Callie's Blessing Day

We blessed Callie on the 27th of September. It was a good day. She looked so pretty in her dress! Here are a few pictures from that day.
This is actually the day before. We did family pictures and got a few of Callie in her dress.

Callie's Newborn Pictures

We had some newborn pictures taken of Callie. I think they turned out pretty cute. The shoot lasted 4 hours and the only reason we got as many good ones as we did is because of the photographer's amazing patience. She is great. If anyone needs pictures done we have used her twice now and I would highly recommend her. Her name is Megan Papworth. Her website is meganpapworth.com. You can contact her through that. Here are a few of the pictures we got.

I love her little tongue!
