The people have spoken...

Who are you rooting for in the Super Bowl: the Green Bay Packers or the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Packers 43
Steelers 27
Kos is in the minority. Bears fan. Bitter. I get it.

But the Steelers represent everything that's wrong with the game.

Have since '05.

And, yes, I'm a Seahawks fan and I'm bitter.

Let's go Green Bay!

The General reads a book.

How dare the author compare the American right to the Taliban. Sure, we both hate sex, reproductive choice, secularism, government regulation, homosexualism, and masturbation. We both want to establish godly governments that enforce scriptural law. And, we both justify our wars on the basis of religion. But the similarities end there.
Dissimilarities detailed here.

Good point.

Better question. Markos...
The Homeland Security committee was the committee with jurisdiction over the administration's handling of Katrina. Anyone remember Lieberman using it to hold the administration accountable for drowning an entire city?
Shouldn't just being lousy at it be reason enough to lose the job?

· From the "Slightly bowdlerized" file.

David Sedaris on undecided voters, via Kos…
To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. "Can I interest you in the chicken?" she asks. "Or would you prefer the platter of sh*t with bits of broken glass in it?"

To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked.

TO:   Superdelegates

FROM: David Plouffe, Campaign Manager
RE: An Update on the Race for Delegates
DA: May 7, 2008
...With the Clinton path to the nomination getting even narrower, we expect new and wildly creative scenarios to emerge in the coming days. While those scenarios may be entertaining, they are not legitimate and will not be considered legitimate by this campaign or its millions of supporters, volunteers, and donors…
No, they aren't, and no, they won't, well, they shouldn't be, anyway. Kos has the whole memo.
