Meanwhile in OlympiaâĶ
âĶmy own personal first-term Representative is making her mark. Via Of Paramount Importance...
OLYMPIAâState Rep. Cindy Ryu reached a major milestone today in her effort to save Washingtonâs Mortgage Lending Fraud Prosecution Account. While I'm generally in favor of sunset provisions that keep legislation from outliving it's usefulness, sometimes a good idea remains good, and sometimes it might get even better, with the passage of time. Spotting and saving the good ones is something we count on our legislators for, and Cindy's proving we can count on her.
The House of Representatives voted 97-0 for Ryuâs proposal to cancel the scheduled July termination of the fraud-fighting account and extend its life to the end of June, 2016.
