A little catch-up

This is a photo with the two Grandpas.  The one on the left is known as Grandpa.  The one on the right is known as Paw Paw.  As you can see, both enjoy Jayden and Jayden seems to be getting a kick out of them!  This was when my parents were out to visit in January. This is a photo of Jayden enjoying his veggies.  It's more like he's enjoying his ranch dressing more than the actual veggies, but whatever gets him eating them, right?
In the video, Jayden's getting a kick out of Ana (the dog) trying to lick the ranch off his hands.  She's not a huge fan of him most days, unless he has food to offer!

Jayden's growing by leaps and bounds.  Right now animal sounds are some of his favorite things to imitate.  He has learned new words such as apple, strawberry, please and chicken.

He is OBSESSED with the Imagination Movers.  For those of you who don't have younger kids, it's a show on Disney Jr.  We watch the shows we have recorded OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.  Good thing Mommy likes the music!

Well, thats the catch-up in a nutshell!  More to come when I get a moment where he's distracted and I can get to the computer without his little fingers helping!

New Hobbies

Every day it's something new with Jayden.  He's at that age where he's learning spacial relations and where you can ask him to do something and he understands all the instructions.  Of course, being a child of the 21st century he loves technology.  But he's also very fascinated with the basics.  His new favorite activity is playing with the dog dish and stand.  As you can see from the picture, he likes to wiggle himself through the hole.  Hopefully he'll outgrow it before his body does.

Today I watched him push around some empty Pampered Chef boxes.  Next thing you know, he matter-of-factly opened the pantry door, pushed the box in and climbed on top to reach shelves he couldn't reach before.  He's already figuring out how to get what he wants.  I think we may be in big trouble!

But as usual, he is such a joy and we're enjoying him.

Week after next, we head back to the fertility clinic to continue our quest for another one.  We just finished up 6 months of oral drugs with no success.  I'll be interested to see what the fertility clinic has us do for the next step.

We're hoping for another one, but even if we just end up with the one we've got, we've lucked out!

He's perfect! :)
