Happy Birthday to David!

We celebrated David's birthday starting on Friday with a bunch of his friends at a Cars/pirate birthday party. He wanted Cars decor with a pirate pinata and goodie bags. He had a lot of fun! Whenever David sees a lit candle he sings himself happy birthday and then blows it out. Since it was finally his real birthday, we decided to extend this birthday celebration to 3 days and let him blow out his candles Friday, Saturday and Sunday (which was his real birthday).

On Thursday night before his birthday party David and I were in the ER getting x-rays to make sure his right arm wasn't broken. Luckily it was only sprained and so maybe you can see in the pictures that David is not using his arm which made it difficult to open presents and hit the pinata. He didn't let it stop him from anything, and thankfully, by Saturday afternoon he was back to climbing the tree in our front yard.

Happy 3rd Birthday David! We love you!

Rise and Shout!!!

If you know Derrick, you know this one is especially for him...

Let's just say we are Bronco fans. The guy is amazing! I'm not ready to name my next son Bronco (like Derrick wants to) but he really is the right man for the job there at BYU. If you want to know why we love him, listen to how he just nails this interview with Jim Rome. Click right here to listen.
If you are a BYU football fan you will just want to give the guy a hug after you hear it. Actually, that is exactly what we plan to do at the TCU game in October. We are going to get good seats and try to get a picture. That will definitely be blog worthy so watch for it mid-October. Any Texan friends reading should plan to be there as well!! Anyway, quest for perfection lives on this weekend against Wyoming... GO COUGS!!

Sisters

So which one is Grace and which one is Hannah?

Well, I guess the date on the corner is a give away, but isn't it amazing how much they look alike??? SO cute... here they are together. Hannah is happy because her head is steady enough that I am letting her stand and hold her (with me right there) but she just loves feeling more like a mommy standing with her.
