Captain America Bronze Statue

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Captain America, Comicave, and Marvel Studios commissioned Cortes Studio to make the prototype for the thirteen foot, one ton bronze statue of the iconic superhero raising his shield in a heroic pose. After the first unveiling in San Diego, the statue made its homecoming to Brooklyn's Prospect Park where Captain America fans gathered to get a glimpse of the life sized superhero. The statue continued its tour in Brooklyn and was moved to Barclay's Center for a few months, and then was moved to Sunset Park inside the former Navy Building in South Brooklyn where it currently stands.
