TRACEROUTE: trace the route to an internet host

Use this online utility to perform a TRACEROUTE to track the networking route from this server to another remote internet host. It is very useful for identifying routers that are experiencing latencies or discarding your packets.

This service is a Unix like traceroute. Unlike the ICMP based tracert on Windows, this Unix traceroute uses UDP datagrams (on default port 33434), which works very well even if routers on the way may give low priority or even drop ICMP packets destined for the router's IP address. On the other hand, there may be routers which give low priority or drop UDP packets as well, but they are reported to be far less ...
