Christmas Tree

I love being a stay-at-home mom! Emily & I decorated the Christmas tree all by ourselves this year while Ashley was at school. I loved the peace and quiet.

This year I THREW tinsel on it! I bought tinsel about 5 years ago when I was buying everything in sight for my 12-foot tree I had at the time, but I've never dared use it. Those that know me very well know that it is very out of character for me to do something like this to my tree. I usually have to have everything in the perfect place. I really like the tinsel! :)

November 2010

For some odd reason, I love to take pictures of "owie's". My children's baby books will be full of them - oh how they will love me! :)

Emily was jumping from our couch to a Love Sac and landed on the edge of the table instead. This one created a lot of blood.

She loves getting her picture taken!





Ashley's Kindergarten Thanksgiving Program

The kindergarten classes sang a few songs for all the parents. I couldn't get a very good shot...

October 2010

The kindergarten teachers wanted to do a field trip this for their students, but since we live too far away from anything to allow enough time, we had them come to our house!

They brought about 150 pumpkins the day before...

3 classes totaling about 75 kids in the morning & afternoon = 150 kids! They rotated between story time and games and then each kid got to pick their own pumpkin to lug back to the school. We had so much fun - I hope we get to do it every year!



Zac's sister Melissa and family invited us to Tooele for an evening to their school Halloween carnival...

Ashley and Emily had so much fun with their cousin Gracie!

They got so much candy & were so tired that the ward trunk or treat was all we did this year. They didn't complain much even when their friends started ringing the doorbell afterwards for the traditional neighborhood trick or treating.

September 2010

September 1st = Ashley's 1st day of Kindergarten.

*It also happened to be our 10 anniversary, my mom's birthday, & Zac's brother Adam's birthday. :)

Ashley said, "Mom, you don't have to come with me - I know exactly where to go!"

Ashley and Emily also started dance. They love it!

Emily loves getting her chance to wear a backpack (to put their tap shoes & ballet shoes in).

Summer Fun

We had a very rough summer with Zac's breakdown... but I did manage to drag them out of the house once in July to go to the Zoo.

It was HOT!!!

We spent a lot of time in the yard on projects with Zac...
