Private club for ACEO exchanges among furry artists
Hello. This community is for invited artists only. We are a community of ACEO/ATC cards traders. ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) are 2.5 x 3.5 inches trading cards. What makes them unique, is that they are done by current artists working on that size of picture. They are unique miniature art pieces artists can use to trade or sell, or just to keep them. And mainly, to collect.
The porpose of this club is encouraging its members to trade with those cards. Each month, the club ask its members to participate in the month´s exchange. Member who join are paired in couples, and they must draw their partner´s character. After that, they send the pictures to each other: both originals and copies can be traded, but the club encourages to trade with the originals.
The club encourages communication and befriending of its members. So if a monthly couple wants to change anything about the trade, they can. It means they can ask each other to draw different characters, to work both on digital mediums, to use a determinate technique... and the list goes on as long as desired.
So I welcome all members to the club. I wish you have a lot of fun and meet a lot of interesting and friendly people here. Please always have in mind to be polite and kind to everyone, and most important: try to have fun. If this was not something to enjoy, this club wouldn´t exist.
HOW THE CLUB WORKS:
1. At the middle of each month, we ask our members who is willing to participate in the next month´s trade.
2. At the beginning of each month, we pair at random all members who wanted to participate.
3. Each member has to draw one of his partner´s characters in an ACEO card during the month. They have to do it in a traditional media, so the original can be traded later.
OPTIONALLY the two members of a trading couple can agree to do other kind of trade: digital media, bigger-size pictures... they have to agree that, but at the end of the month, they must have done a picture trade. We encourage communication and freedom of our members for that matter.
4. When two members of a trading couple have finished their part, they should exchange addresses among themselves. We don´t send those addresses instead of members anymore.
5. If a member doesn´t finish his part of the trade: a warning is sent within the first days after the month finishes. They have another week to do the picture. If they fail to do so, they are suspended from the club. This can be undone.
6. Suspended members can get back to the club by finishing the picture they owe.
7. When a member is suspended a third time, he gets banned from the club. This cannot be undone.
8. Members can always recommend new members to the club. But only admins can invite them and make them members. The club is also always open to new ideas or suggestions. You can e-mail us at ACEO.Furs.Exchange@gmail.com.
9. Userinfo is private and is only used for the trades. We won´t give this info to anyone who is not your monthly partner.
10. If some member isn´t satisfied with art quality, fastness of posting pictures or have some other problems - he can anytime send a complain to the club´s email. If the complain is confirmed as valid, this problematic member will be notified about that (anonymously). Three complains or combination of complains and suspendations mean banning from the club.
