New AddMe for Spring 2026!
Age: Late 20s
I mostly post about: Artwork, writing, character design and development, whatever shows and/or games I'm currently invested in, the various happenings in my life, any thoughts, feelings, and other ramblings that come to mind
My hobbies are: Illustration, writing, gaming, streaming, collecting comics, merchandise, plushies (I have too many), and stationary
My fandoms are: Main is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003, IDW, and Splintered Fate), casual enjoyer of Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog; I also enjoy a number of various anime, cartoons, comics/manga, and video games that I may mention from time to time.
I'm looking to meet people who: While no specific person comes to mind, as long you're kind and considerate, I'm happy to chat even if our interests don't line up.
My posting schedule tends to be: A bit sporadic, but I usually manage to get one or two posts in a week
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: I prefer to interact with users who are at least 20 or older and will avoid interacting with minors. Not tolerant of bigotry in any form (racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, etc.) I do, unfortunately, have quite a few major squicks on the fannish front, so if you're posting things like adult/minor pairings and/or incest, I'm going to politely keep my distance.
Before adding me, you should know: I prefer to keep my journal SFW out of personal preference. Neurodivergent (autistic), highly anxious to the point I sometimes delete posts for whatever reason, although I'm trying to be braver about posting my opinions even if they lean more towards the negative and come off as a bit whiny/complainy.

Re: squicks I do ship incest ships but I really don't post much fannish stuff on my journal so it never comes up. Although, as a writer, I tend to hexplore darker topics i.e. abuse, violence, bad mental health stuff and there's no way around that since I think about it a lot. Just so you know.

I also like shipping in general, with interspecies ships like Starline/Eggman, Sonic x Elise, as well as enemies-to-lovers and lovers-to-enemies (especially in Transformers) being my favorite tropes. There's just something about love that sees past appearances, or doesn't even need to see past appearances, I find soo cute.
Though I'd prefer not to give my exact age, I'm within the 20-25 range.
I like writing, art, gaming, and most recently, writing meta.
Also, are you me? I also get worried about looking cringy and annoying people with my opinions, but have been trying to get better about that.
Re: squicks. I self-ship (sharing) with Surge, whom I view as a young adult/ageless. However, some fans view the ages from the old manuals and whatnot as still being canon, and Sonic and co. are listed as teens in there.
Given the removal of the ages (with no other edits) to the characters' Sonic Channel bios, the fact that 06 and Heroes (sources for most ages) were thirty-something games ago, and changes like deeper voices in Frontiers, I'm of the opinion that most of the cast are now young adults if they do care about ages.
Don't worry, I try not to be too cringy about it. Most of my posts about her just read like regular obsession over a character, if you can call obsession 'regular'. I'm also sharing, so I don't really care if you ship her with anyone. I ship her with some other characters myself.

I do the same thing with posts, and most things online (instagram etc), but I've learned that rather than deleting them, it's better if I just make them 'private' so no one can see them. That way I can still read them again in years to come. For me it also stems from anxiety.
