Adirondack LJ community

There's a beautiful place in upstate New York. It's a huge state park with private land and no gates or a fence around it. The park also encompases miles of beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers and forest.

People ski there, camp, hike, swim, snowboard, boat and skate here. Others just live here or go to college there. People also train for the olympics, have summer homes, relax, just take in the sights and/or the beautiful fall foliage here.

Americade is held there, the Ironman Northeast trials are held here, the worlds largest yard sale is held there, one of the world's best roller coasters is there, the Comet at Great Escape, a six flags park.

History has been made there, the 1980 and 1932 Winter Olympics were held here, the miracle on ice in 1980 happened there, Eric Heiden won all of his olympic medals here, slavery abolitionist John Brown is burried there, singer Kate Smith is burried there, Teddy Roosevelt found out President McKinley was shot while visiting there, one of Teddy's favorite places, and was sworn in as President there.
