Allthecoolkids is a rating community, created on a whim by Erica (
caedas) in 2004. It was alive and thriving for a couple of months, before both she and her co-mods, Meghan, aka Mibby (tragoedia) and Brianna (missbinky) basically got sick of it. Erica eventually deleted the comm and decided to let it die. Then one fateful summer's day in 2005 (July 10, to be exact) she and Mibby decided to revive the thing. They erased all of the old members and the old entries. It was time to give the community a new face and a new attitude. Basically, it boils down to this.
We want the best. All of the coolest people on LJ, right here in one community, posting about whatever the hell they want and voting on new members. What are we judging on? Everything. Personality, intelligence, looks, depth... Whatever you show us, we'll be critiquing. This is a rating community. It's not our goal to be bitchy, but if we have to, we will. FOR APPLICANTS
01. Post your entire app under an lj-cut. There's one included in the HTML we're giving you, make use of it! There's no excuse not to have one.
02. Don't comment on any entries until you're accepted, other than responding to what people say on your own app.
03. You must post your application within 24 hours of joining. If you think it's going to take you longer, don't join until you're ready to post. Pretty simple.
04. Don't be rude to members voting on your app, or argue with their vote.
05. Make the subject line of your application "Spleen is keen" so we know you've read the rules.
06. If you are rejected, you may apply ONCE more. And only once.
