Wolverine's memories have returned.
Cerebra is shattered.
Cyclops & Emma Frost are left with a fraction of their students and an Institute that has become a government "reservation" and is surrounded by human-controlled Sentinels.
And in the wake of the Decimation, the resurrected Hellfire Club announces that they can re-power any former mutant... at a price. At their side is a former friend, proof of their word.
In this "brave new world" where only 198 mutants are left alive, where all the strides that have been made are gone, where mutants now are "feared and hated" once more, how will the remaining X-Men deal with what comes next?
