Welcome to Ats Hush, a textless icon challenge community based on the television series, Angel. This community was created by damnskippytoo when the angel_hush icon challenge community was closed. You moderator is damnskippytoo and your banner maker is nikkiwawa79.

Visitors, please do not snag icons without the permission of and proper credit given to the icon artist.

S U B M I S S I O N

You submit by leaving a comment on the challenge post with your icon. Comments on challenge posts will be screened, so only the moderator and the original poster will see them.

Please use the following format for submission. Include the icon and url. Your submission should look something like this:

1. Four icons per contestant per challenge (unless otherwise stated); icons may be NOT be animated.
   
2. Your icon can not include text...that includes tiny text, text brushes, or brushes that could be construed as text of any sort. This also includes:
   
   
   • "stitches"
     
   • "X" brushes
     
   • "&" and "+"
   
   
3. If you submit an icon, it must be your own personal work.
   
4. Do not combine (blend) different caps and do not add outside images unless otherwise specified in the challenge. You may repeat the cap or a portion of the cap on the same icon.
   
5. All icons must meet livejournal standards - under 40kb and 100x100px in GIF, JPG, or PNG format.
   
6. Icons must be remotely hosted on a site that allows direct linking (you can use a free Photobucket account).
   
7. Keep icons anonymous throughout the run of the contest (don’t post them elsewhere before voting is over). You may not submit an icon that you have used or posted elsewhere.
   
8. The Mod is allowed to enter challenges.
   
9. Banners will provided as long as we have a banner maker. If we do not have one and you wish to receive a banner for your winning icons, please go to custom_banners.

V O T I N G

Voting occurs in response to the voting post via a poll. All members of the community are allowed to vote regardless of whether they submitted an icon. Votes are weighted, so make sure to vote in proper rank. You may not vote for your own icon.


Voting

1-3 entries: 1st Place Winner
4-6 entries: 1st and 2nd Place
7-9 entries: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place
10 entries and up: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, and Mod's Choice. If there are a lot of entries, there may also be a special category like Best Use of Color or Most Original Design.

**Mod's Choice can be awarded to any icon, if it places or not.**

D I S Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S

A moderator will attempt to warn you if your icon is submitted improperly or if you break any of the rules; however, the moderator reserves the right to disqualify your icon without warning if it is improperly submitted or you break any of the rules.
