John Frankman is a Fighter for Faith and Freedom. A loving husband and devout Catholic Christian, John is a political outsider and former U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret Captain.

Politics found John when he was forced out of the Army for refusing the unlawful DoD COVID-19 shot mandate. Since then, he has been a tireless advocate for service members, veterans, and their families, and for accountability for those responsible. While advocating on Capitol Hill, John realized most representatives are failing us and that our country won't survive or fix its problems under the current representatives we have. He is now running for Congress to confront our nearly $40 trillion national debt, protect our essential liberties (threatened most severely during the COVID era), hold the government accountable, and put America First.

John earned a B.S. in Chemical Physics from Wheaton College and an M.A. in Systematic Theology from Mount St. Mary’s Seminary after four years in Catholic seminary formation discerning the priesthood. He served eight years on active duty, completing Ranger School, the Special Forces Qualification Course, Military Free Fall, and SERE.

John channels his spiritual formation, leadership, and elite military training to fight for Faith, Freedom, and Florida First in Congress.
  • Care for Military and Veterans

Florida's 1st Congressional District is the most veteran-dense in America and is home to five major strategic military bases. As a former Special Forces Green Beret Captain, John Frankman understands the sacrifices and challenges facing service members, veterans, and their families.

John will fight for world-class veteran healthcare, including a VA hospital for Northwest Florida, greater choice in care, and access to innovative treatments. He will work with our bases to ensure they receive full funding and the resources needed for combat readiness to defend against all enemies.

The most veteran-dense district deserves to be represented by a veteran who has spent years fighting for veterans.
  • Restore Affordability and Eliminate Debt The United States is nearly $40 trillion in debt, which fuels massive inflation and affordability problems. John Frankman will work to cut reckless federal spending, rein in our national debt, and restore economic stability so families can once again afford housing, groceries, insurance, and energy. This includes reducing the size of the federal government, slashing unnecessary agencies, voting on single-subject spending bills instead of omnibus packages, and stopping funding for foreign governments until we get our own spending under control. He supports extending and expanding tax cuts, reducing regulatory burdens, and unleashing American energy independence to lower costs across the board.
  • Protect Civil Liberties and Government Accountability COVID-19 risk mitigation measures were the biggest infringement on civil liberties in our lifetime. Advances in surveillance technology like FLOCK cameras and AI monitoring have increased worries about Fourth Amendment protections. John will defend civil liberties and demand greater government accountability. He supports a Medical Freedom Amendment to protect healthcare choices and will hold Big Pharma liable. He will vote to stop FISA’s warrantless surveillance of Americans and oppose other data collection programs that threaten privacy. To safeguard liberties, John will hold federal officials accountable for abuses of power and ensure consequences for unconstitutional actions.
