Very excited to discover what I can do with triangular canvases

The instructions on the Texture Paste pot suggest mixing with gel medium if using on a flexible surface. The pot on the left has a mix of sand and PVA glue in it left over from another painting. I was wondering whether to create some surface texture with to rust, the piece of wood or the rope.

I used the rope.

My daughter and son-in-law are dairy farmers, they use sand as bedding for the cows and so I am able to have some for a sandpit for the children and for painting with

I might do another and leave the sand as the background surface

but this time, after leaving it to dry in the sun, I painted it with a stencil brush, just dabbing the paint on the sand

Play time arranging bits of beach clean

Not the finished piece, but a stage along the way.
