This community is for the gorgeous person within you, regardless of your gender!
It's a place where you can show off all your favourite beauty hints (Lard for ingrown hairs? Swarfega for those pre-date pimples? That kind of thing!) and seek assistance from the beautiful people about all those worrisome things that are preventing you looking as beautiful as nature intended. It's also somewhere to share your favourite links, product reviews and success stories.
I also wanted to challenge all those tired old stereotypes about people who take an obvious pride in their appearance being empty headed bimbos whose brains have rotted from being in such close proximity to years of peroxide and thus I'm extending a big warm welcome to everyone, regardless of your gender/ sexuality/ race/ religion/ culture/ size etc ad infinitum. Obviously if you're a size 6 and blonde and tanned and so on, you're more than welcome to join, but if you're not, you're even more welcome!
It's open to everyone, but posting access is only available for members. When you join, be sure to post an introduction and a hint or query, too- don't just say, Hi, my name's Sweaty Betty and I just joined... uhhh... this community seems kEwL!- because this isn't
find_ljfriends or what have you- we need to know what's made you the god/ goddess you really are!
Feel free to post pictures of your loveliness and/or problem areas- just stick 'em behind an LJ cut and then no-one'll get cranky.
