This fanmix is dedicated to and inspired by all of the Earpcest fanfic writers on AO3 - y’all are my heroes. <3 I made my first Earpcest fanmix after S1, and I’ve been collecting other songs for them since then. And finally the canon of S3 demanded that I get things together and make another one, cuz DAMN there were some strong Wynonna/Waverly feels this past season. o__o This one really spans a whole bunch of genres, and as always I seem to be drawn to a mix of songs that have themes of longing, obsession, angst, and above all, undying love no matter what the world throws at them. ;) Thank you once again to mammothluv for the fantastic album art!

If you follow me on literally any other website than this one you're well aware that I am completely obsessed with Wynonna Earp and have been since it premiered in April.  The show premiered on April 1st and I put the first tracks into this playlist on April 12th, back when it was entitled "Earp sisters oh no" -- which sums up a lot of this actually, haha.  My feelings for Wynonna & Waverly's relationship, both canonical and subtextual, have been raging since Wynonna called Waverly "babygirl" in the pilot and haven't let up since.

Unfortunately this ship has a tiny following, but I certainly don't plan on quitting making fanworks for them anytime soon!  I've written one fic for them so far, and I'm also toying with a bunch of tracks from this mix as potential vidsongs.  (I really love the thought of having a Wynonna/Waverly vid to premiere at TGIFemlash this year, hehe.)  Big thanks go out to mammothluv for jumping onboard this delicious sis!yay ship immediately and also for creating the album art for this mix, which I completely adore. <3

I love that I thought I'd be able to make an Illyana mix without also making a Kitty mix to go with it. ;)

Wow, I have not posted a proper fanmix in almost four years. /o\ I'm here to rectify that with a mix for a very uncommon ship that is mostly based on my own headcanon. OH WELL! I hope someone else might enjoy the music at the very least. :) (Or, even better, feel inspired to give All-New X-Men a read and come frolic in the teacher/student femslash with me.)

But first a little coda to the VVC drama: I'm glad I got my rant off my chest, I'm out of the Con Dar now, and I guess some good suggestions have come out of all this? Really, if people want to discuss VVC policies until the day they die, God speed (especially if the concom apparently encourages this). Seriously, go for it. I'll be chilling over herre, not caring about stepping on people's toes and all that. ;P

Okay. So when I started watching Grey's Anatomy hardcore a couple months ago, songs started popping out to me immediately that would remind me of the show. I waited until I had a solid playlist and enough songs for a mix, and now I do so here it is! I'm very happy with how things turned out, and I think you'll really enjoy it. While some of the tracks do remind me of specific pairings, one of the things I like about these songs is that they all remind me of the show and its characters in a general sense, so they really could be applied to any character or pairing of your choosing. Grey's Anatomy, to me, has always been about the relationships between all the characters, platonic or otherwise. What I'm trying to say is I think this mix captures the polyamorous nature of the show. :) Please comment if you're downloading, and enjoy!!

So this is the first legitimate fanmix I've made in awhile and the first one I've ever posted online. Obviously after watching so much of The L Word in such a short period of time and completely falling in love with Shane/Carmen I just HAD to get some energy out and make this! And seriously, Carmen is like my favorite character ever. Ya know, besides Kara and Wesley and our Big Damn Heroes... um, but other that that! lol. It really wasn't meant to be so angsty, but then again maybe it should be...! I've been working on this literally non-stop for the past three days. And damn people know what they're talking about when they say that making the album art is HARD, yo. It took me hours, but actually turned out well I think, even if it's different than what I originally planned.

Anyway, I really hope you like it, please download away (just don't claim the mix or art as yours is all I ask), and if anything's not working or needs a reupload let me know. I'd really love to hear what you think so please comment if you download (or even if you don't)!
