Hey All,
I am doing a research project related to creative entrepreneurship using Etsy. If you or anyone you know uses Etsy, could you please fill out this survey and pass it along to anyone else who uses etsy to sell their products? I would really appreciate it! Thank you!!!
(My apologies for the x-posting.)

Hello, everyone.
I've started a brand new review blog featuring items and shops on etsy, as well as other great websites that are good for people strapped on cash who want to do bartering. It's really a catch-all for ducking and weaving through the internet to find honest deals and artisans who make their own things.
Hope some of you find it usedful.

I wrote up a blog post of three different Etsy shops I've purchased from that I LOVED. You can read the detailed reviews of what I purchased and what I liked very specifically if you like, or just visit the shops directly:

http://www.etsy.com/shop/opheliasapothecary
http://www.etsy.com/shop/ForStrangeWomen
(I've seen the last one mentioned on here once already. It really is a great shop.)

I am in love, love, primordial love with this woman's products. For Strange Women is the company that misunderstood girls fascinated with dark whimsies dream about. And make poor copies of. You can't hold a beeswax candle to this woman, and that's a fact.
When I moved to Georgia, my roommate's parents took me to the farmer's market and I bought a bowl of crushed cloves to keep in my drawers (for less that three dollars, I might add.) I don't smoke, but I'd get all tingly inside when my man lit up a clove around me. Mmm. Men. For non-smokers seeking a less risky and independent of second parties alternative, I've got to recommend her Clove lip balm.

I just bought a corset from her -- AMAZING. They aren't cheap, I'm not rich, and I immediately bought three more, if that tells you anything.
Read my full review, with photos, on my journal here.
If you were ever considering buying a corset, or have ever even looked at a woman wearing one and wished you could look like that - YOU CAN. What Michelle does with fabric and steel will blow your mind. I've had mine a week now, and have hardly taken it off!

I'm trading with berd and bee for some holiday headwear! I loove trades, I'll have to post my recent treasures here soon.
now, the question is - what should I trade for? I have about $70 worth of credit and I want it all. I'm thinking
- big tree mug
- lovely log or pinecone candles! her candles are such nice shapes and look like they will smell divine, not chemical-y. I had to throw away a Target sandalwood candle recently because even un-lit, it reeked so bad!
