I was glad to see the participation increase with the challenge extension. More fic centered around Eleven and Amy is always a good thing, right? Keep it up, guys! I would love to see all the new members try their hand next time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE BEFORE VOTING: We have issued a new rule when it comes to voting. You may not vote for yourself. Please keep this in mind while voting. Besides, it's always nice to show another author a little bit of recognition.

This poll is closed.

CHALLENGE EXTENSION

You know, I really hate to do this yet again, but as we only have one entry for the current challenge (Free-for-All), we almost have to. This time of year may definitely be a bit busy for some of you what with possible exams, looming holidays, and NaNoWriMo, but I was hoping that with this challenge being as broad as a challenge can be (and with the influx of new members!), we'd see some more participation. Again, this challenge is a free-for-all, meaning you can submit any genre, rating, theme, plot, etc as long as it's Eleven/Amy-centric, as this is the point of this community. Really, the boundaries are quite wide. So, I hope some of you take take this extra week to your advantage and write something for the community!

The new deadline for this challenge is Thursday, November 25th
. Please make sure you submit your fics before then or at least by the end of that day. Again, good luck and happy ficcing!

On the Rules: All weekly writing challenges will be issued on a Thursday and run until the next Thursday. That means you always have seven days to write a fic (or multiple fic, you may enter any individual challenges as many times as you like) of at least 600 words based on the given prompt. Thursday, after the challenge closes, a voting post will be made in which everyone can vote for their favorite stories. We'll count the results and post the winner(s) on Mondays!

You can review the rules here.

Weekly Challenge #6

FREE-FOR-ALL

As you may have noticed, things have gotten decidedly quiet in this community. We had only one participant in the last challenge. One! That just won't do. So, we've decided to have a free-for-all challenge this time around. What does that mean? Well, you can submit whatever you choose as long as it's Eleven/Amy-centric, as always, and written for this community - meaning, we discourage submitting older fics. This rule is always in place no matter what, but I felt it was necessary to stress that this week.

We hope this will get the community active again and maybe inspire people to join in for the first time :) Hopefully the combined release of the series five DVDs and soundtrack can help rejuvenate a bit of interest.

Hello again... You guys were so sweet and awesome about the first one, I couldn't help but write a sequel. I hope this follows the "fluff" rules, it kept trying to be sort of angsty, but I think I cut most of it out. This immediately follows "The Dress."

Weekly Challenge #4

FLUFF

Things will be getting light and sweet this week, because the theme of this challenge is fluff! That basically means anything happy is a go, so the possibilities are literally endless!
