so when i tried to pack the bonsai trees i had left behind in akron into my little saturn, i soon realized that it is going to be impossible for me to take them with me on my journey unless i leave something else behind in their place. so, the jade bonsai's are looking for a new home.
this one is a little sick but i've been working on it
this fella is healthy and is my most successful bonsai tree that i've ever grown and not killed. i love this guy, i've had him for 6 years when i bought him he was already 9 years old so that puts him at 15 years old right now.

I wired the bonsai this weekend. ^-^ I hope I did a good job! Next week we take the bonsai to school to present it. I hope it looks ok.

The bonsai's spring needles are beginning to open up ^^ yay! Soon I will begin wiring it. (when I get wire that is... probably this weekend or something)

Good news: My dad is giving me the wire to wire our bonsi soon. We took pictures of it!
Bad News: I left it at Natasha's! ;_;....
But zat's okeydoke, because I will get it tomorrow before it is depleated.

Pictures will be up soon. I plan on taking them on Thursday. Sadly, we forgot to take pictures of what the Juniper looked like before we pruned it. But thats okay, I'll just take some on Thursday, maybe we can do like a weekly photoshoot of the Juniper and like, compare its growth.
So far, the tree is growing into a semi-cascading style, and we hope to keep it that way, or perhaps we'll make it into a cascading. Only time can tell...

Ok everyone! So this is a journal dedicated to the progress of our bonsai, which we will be using as a model in a project for our Japanese class. We've had it for about a week and a half now, and so far we've been watering it regularly and have pruned it accordingly. The buds are starting to sprout :3
