Do you have any spreads you're especially proud of? What about a collection? Anything interesting there?

On things related to productivity: What about your daily logs? Is there one day where you finished everything and didn't need to migrate any tasks?

On a more aesthetic level: Had a day where your handwriting was on point? Has your calligraphy leveled up? Do you want to show us that cute washi tape border?

I like my bookshelf. I hadn't tried to draw anything since I was a teenager, so I was pretty pleased with how that came out.

I'm finding trying to be artistic and using stickers and etc. really soothing. Once I found electronic journaling more than a decade ago, I quit keeping a paper one, but I'm finding that I'm getting a lot out of keeping this paper journal in terms of having fun, helping my mood, etc.

I didn't think I could possible enjoy coloring in squares to show I'd completed something but wow I do :) So I keep some tasks electronic and some paper.

OMG, I know what you mean. I love scratching things off a list, checking a box, coloring in something, highlighting it when done. It is so satisfying on so many levels.

I cannot take credit, alas. I pretty much just tried my best to copy an example I saw on Pinterest. LOL Some of the bookshelves on Pinterest had decorative items on the shelf I knew I could never imitate, but the vase turned out okay. :)

If you look on Pinterest, there are all kinds of book spreads to emulate. One that might work better than the shelves is just a single stack, and the books are drawn bigger. That would work if only wanted to do a few.

This is to help me visualize which POVs have been used last, etc. in my current novel-in-progress/revisions.

(I wish I had more colors! Haha. Also, the solar system washi tape is because it's science fantasy. :p)

I posted my Habit Tracker for Feb, so have a fancy café pic of my Project Planner.

I use the project planner for things that need doing/get done at some point in the week.

Sort of! I have a bunch of post-its with Native Americans designs, and I write the number for the index at the back of the post-it that sticks out. That works out nicely since I placed my Index at the back of my notebook.

I did mine at the back too! I thought that made more sense than the beginning because you can do the index backwards, but if you do it at the beginning you might run out of room.

Yes! That was exactly what was happening to me when I did the index at the front, so I figured I might as well do it at the back. Plus I recalled printed books usually have the index at the back so it's not so crazy an idea?

The spread I'm most proud of is my yearly vidding tracker. Vidding is one of my hobbies where I edit tv shows and movies to music or other audio. I wanted to track how much I'm vidding, what process I'm working on, how long it takes for me to make a vid, and I also use it to keep me on track for deadlines for conventions where the vids are shown.

I have all 12 months along the top so I can track what vidding process I'm focusing on, then I use a type of dutch door along the bottom half to track the amount of time I'm vidding where each box represents 20 minutes with the same color coding as the yearly view. I had to decorate it and make it aesthetically appealing so it would motivate me to use it. It's working out very, very well. It's February and it's already motivated me to triple my vidding productivity.

That is so cool looking! I love that you taped stuff on with the washi tape. I think that would get bulky over time in a notebook, but it works perfectly with your black card stock.

What fandoms do you vid in?

Oh yeah, it'd be so thick in a notebook and doing that many dutch doors would ruin the binding for sure.

I've been vidding for a long time in lots of different fandoms, but in the last year I made vids for Lost, The Witch, Drunk History, It Follows, Mr. Robot, House of the Devil, Spy, and Mission Impossible. I'm currently working on a Hannibal vid.
