This journal is mostly a mishmash of sighthounds, art, photos, cats, books, myth, roleplaying, Devon, Cornwall, Pembrokeshire, Tolkien, Arthuriana, random rants, occasional fanfic and random observations about the weather.
I will sometimes post my drawings or paintings - often book-inspired in some way. Some of my Tolkien art is here. You don't get better at doing something by not doing it.

I have a personal website, mostly for my art, at victoriaclare.com. I'm more likely to post experimental and things that went wrong on LJ / DW, and finished pieces on my own website where I make more of an effort to look like I know how to do things...
I write some fanfic based on some of Rosemary Sutcliff's historical novels (and to a lesser extent, the recent film 'The Eagle') and on Tolkien's The Silmarillion. You can find those here at AO3.
Philmophlegm and I run a small web development and marketing business from home, and also the Shop on the Borderlands, a tabletop role-playing and board games shop.
