I am the most transparent person imaginable. What you see is what you get. I do not manipulate people. Flat statement: I don't. I am willing to answer virtually any question about myself, and if I'm not willing to tell the truth, I don't lie; I say I won't answer.
I write, and speak, literally. It's a curse. There are no hidden meanings in my words; I can't write poetry (though I did write what I considered poetry, obsessively, when I was young). People have always tried to read something else into what I write or say. Don't. I haven't the ability to insert hidden meanings.
I may delete from my LJ, without warning, any comment that does either of the following:
(1) does name-calling of real people, i.e., characterizes people rather than their behavior or actions;
(2) imputes intentions and motivations to others when the others have not explicitly stated them.
NOTE: These do not apply to public figures.
Anonymous comments are screened; those that do not have an identifiable name signed to them will usually be deleted.
